Mighty Max Battery ML18-12 - 12 Volt 18 AH, Nut and Bolt (NB) Terminal, Rechargeable SLA AGM Battery

I was nervous buying this battery for my Golden scooter. I took a guess that the orginal battery had gone bad since the scooter said it was charged, but as soon as I pulled the throttle, it would move an inch and stop working. I looked at replacing the battery and casing at around $300. That was too expensive. I figured it would cost more at the dealer. So I opened the casing by removing the screws and matched the battery model to this battery. Everything matched. I replaced the two orginal batteries with these and the scooter now works perfectly. I saved over $200 using these batteries. The hardest part was putting the casing back together. I recommend taking a pic or two when opening so you can remember how it fit together. The batteries were fully charged and were the exact same design and size as the orginal batteries.

I bought this SLA AGM battery in 2020 for a portable auto jump starter that a friend gave me, and that battery is still going fine after after 5 years. I just bought a second one (2025) for my regular (older) jump starter, and it is working again. Hopefully this second battery will last as long as the first.

UPDATED- and after Milton hit m (10 days after Helene)- Champion does run like a champ (just need gas- that's another story)... I found the answer about the battery (although the spec sheet bears out on expected life on the battery)- Treat it like a Motorcycle and get a Battery Tender. I found one like I have for my Harley (which I hard-wired- and canon-plug in- and out)- but a tender will maintain- not overcharge- and with the flashy light- keep it simple- LOL. The target audience was the Seller/Manufacturer. 'Just like when you buy a car battery- you differentiate the cranking amps needed, and the years, i.e. 1,2, 3-yr warranty (which impacts the price- right? And- the date of manufacture is stamped/labeled on the battery so as to keep track. These batteries do not have that. - I gt a myriad of responses, and one (Gadget Guy)- gave the "how the watch is built-answer"- vice what the time. LOL. Thanks all. And yes, I understand environmental impacts (seasons/temps)- usage, and the simple drain (like when your teenager leaves the key switch on in the car so as to play the stereo (loudly0 while off and parked)- I got it. - Thanks...I found the answer in the charts they posted (photo 4), and the Life Expectancy is shown- and yes Mr. Gadget, it takes the environmental impacts into respect-LOL... Bottomline- they earmark this as a 3-Year battery, at "normal usage", and not in super hot or cold conditions (subjective). Benchmark is 3-years. SO, now I'm on the end of year 2, heading to year 3. I can plan ahead for the replacement (like in my cars/truck, and motorcycle). The battery fits, the connectors match, and the Champion 7.5K runs like a Champ! Good replacement battery for ele start generator

Bought this to replace the battery for my generator. Started right out of the box after I switched it out. Seemed to be well charged. Great packaging; well protected for shipping. Charge retention is excellent. I run my generator for 30 minutes every 6-8 weeks. Always starts right up. Very reliable, which I need for a generator.I definitely recommend this battery purchase and will buy this brand again when I need one for lawn mower or other appropriate needs. Very good value for this size battery.
