Cactus
I got this plant about a year ago. I was and still is fine. It came wrapped in old soda water boxes. It arrived pretty fast.I got a nice big pot and some potting soil at the local big box store, and planted it. It hasn't changed a bit. They are slow growing plants. They don't need much water. It is out side on the patio table. It gets lots of sun. It has not been below freezing since I got it. I live in Texas. It was pretty big. It has not had any flowers so far. I am holding the highest expectations for it. I would buy another one.

Not An Agave
I didn't get what was in the picture as advertised. So listen carefully to my description. In the picture I provided it shows what I bought from them and what I bought at a nursery after not getting what I thought I was buying from this website for the same price on sale $10 cheaper so I got what I wanted for $19.99 from the nursery. It is an Agave but a different color but it is the same as the picture on This website except mine is Blue/Green and Yellow stripped. I could have bought the Blue one at the nursery but changed my mind when I saw the stripped one you can see it in the photo at the top of the picture in the square planter I purchased after I bought from this website. Now at the very bottom of the picture with the five little blades of grass looking foilage plant in the clay pot, second one from the left, center. That is what they sent me I have no idea what it is but it is not going to grow into anything like A Blue Agave and if they had sent a Blue Agave pup it would have looked like the Pup you see growing out of my Stripped Agave right there on the left inside the square planter can you see that little 3 inch Pup growing in there? In the 5 weeks since I received their plant I have lost two leaves thinking it is some sort of an Agave cacti and not watering it enough because it's some sort of foilage plant and needs more water and less sun. And in the 12 days that I have had the Stripped Agave from the Nursery which came with a Pup already growing it has produced another 3 Pups below the surface. So this is what I got and how I remedied it by using the $10 they gave me back and applying it towards a Nursery purchase at a local Nursery here in the Dessert. Had I have known I would have gone there first but the picture is totally misleading and the seller explained that she did not put that picture up there and that she has sold Agave plants to my neighbors and other people living in the dessert, shipped from Florida. This foilage plant has a little tip but as you can see from the pictures it is nothing like an Agave with the sharp, hefty leaves. So no I was and not satisfied with having to end up paying after a partial refund $10 for some foilage plant that is nothing like the picture or an Agave Cacti for that matter, glad I got a $10 refund, still cost me $10 tho, and it comes Bareroot wrapped in burlap which I now use to protect my stripped Agave pup with from the sun. Just so you know that reddish looking plant on the left is an Aloe Vera red from a lot of hot sun.

Well packed and fast shipping
My plant was a little damaged when I got it or I'd have given them five stars. I think it was packed well and I assume they may have known that. They did give me a free plant that was perfect, maybe that was too make up for the broken and yellow leaves. I like it better than the one I picked because it's variegated. So over all it's a 4.5 rated purchase. I hope they live!

So far, so good!
I received it about a month ago. Plant arrived packaged well. I couldn't plant it for a few days, so I didn't open it right away. When I did, I was pleased that it was a nice sized plant, about 2 feet tall. I planted it & watered it a little & left it alone. Haven't watered it since, so it gets watered when it rains (once a week or so). So far, it's doing well!

In love !! Such a beautiful plant!
I'm so glad I got my first Agave plant. The shipping time was actually sooner than quoted. It took less than a week. It's such a beautiful plant I don't want to share this secret to anyone! The size was about accurate, about 18in but I think it's bigger. The roots came undamaged and easy to plant! I love theh blueness of it!!! I've gotten many compliments on it and I've only had it for a few days, of course I had to post on Facebook my pride and joy!!! They it off some leaves for packaging purposes it grows fast.

Disappointed
I bought this agave almost 2 weeks ago and I am disappointed at the size. It was and it still looks "wilted".I'm hoping it will look better. I am not a professional at cacti but I have several in my yard so I like to think I know what I'm doing. I expected more for the price.

This Century Plant is a stem about 2-1/2 inches tall, with a root.
I expected that it would be small, but not THAT small. Anyhow, I planted it immediately. That was some time ago, and it hasn't grown any bigger. I realize it's a CENTURY Plant, and I'mhoping that it won't be a century before it's 8" or 10" tall. I'm in my 80's! :-) At least ourfamily may be able to enjoy it in YEARS TO COME!From the picture that advertised it, I was expecting it to at least be one 8" - 10" leaf!Karen T. O'Keefe
