This sandpaper is far superior to the old paper I have used for years. Lasts far, far longer on my belt /disc sander combo.

I have a 9" / 6"x48" combo sander and bought these discs to replace worn out one. Unfortunately I did not do a good job cleaning off the sander disc before trying the first of these new sanding discs. It would not stick all around. So, I pulled it back off and cleaned the sander disc really well. And unfortunately the original sticky glue they used just would stick once I had already tried it. So, had to go to a 2nd new paper disc. It did finally stick but not still not very well. It has stayed on, but just a light pull will take it off. On my larger 12" disc sander, the discs are much stickier and can actually be put back on after removal. These I think you would have to get some additional spray glue or somehting like that to re-use. Not sure if bad batch, or they are all this way. They are the lowest cost ones on the site. So, that may be a clue. They do work and sand well. I use sander eraser to prolong life.

There are a lot of high quality abrasive papers out there but ultimately it comes down to quality, life span and cost- all equaling value. Power tech isn’t the best quality and doesn’t have the best life span but when you rate all three factors, you get a product that the average woodworker (full time hobbyists) can afford.

First one stuck on the disk. Have to see about the others. So far very good

The media could not be loaded. Fits my 9 inch disk sander perfectly, good adhesion, came in an assortment, work well on wood and metal and very inexpensive.See the video for these disks in action. Hope that helps.
