Great book for beginners !
The Faber Piano Adventures are a really good start for beginners. This particular level, 2A has a good selection of tunes and exercises which will improve one's playing and learning. I would recommend that you buy the Theory book and the Performance Book along with this Lesson Book. Students would really enjoy this combination of books.

Not the latest print! There is a un updated 2nd edition on sale!
Not the latest print! This is the 2012 print of the 2nd edition. The latest print has minor changes to some graphics, and a few piece names and sing a long lyrics are different! (That print is also classified as the 2nd edition)

Good structured piano book for kids
My kid likes this book. We like that the learning feels structured and standardized, so it’s easy to follow along and see steady progress. The lessons are clear and appropriate for the level. It has been a good fit for continuing piano practice at home.

This clear, attractive, systematic approach was introduced to me by the mother of a child who was transferring to me from another teacher. She had found this music herself, displayed in a Music shop, and had worked on it with her son, who enjoyed it. They felt that other music presented to him at this stage had proved systematic but dull or jolly but not systematic. I was delighted to discover this music; although I already use a range of methods, I agree that this will prove an attractive option for many at this stage. I was also delighted to find it available with Amazon at such a good price and delivered so quickly.
