It's a dust collector nozzle

Fits Katsu plunge base
Another quality Makita part that fits the Katsu router and bases. By simply snipping off one of the 2 tabs, the dust extractor fits straight onto the base, the securing screw lines up with the hike and is the correct thread, locking it in place. Can't comment on the dust extraction ability as I haven't used it yet, but can only imagine it will work as well as it would on a genuine Makita base. Just a shame I had to buy a minimum of 2, still, £6 for 2 is not exactly a lot of cash and I have a spare!

Works OK but not robust.
Works fine although not particularly robust. I dropped my router on the floor and the first dust nozzle broke. The unit does the job quite well in so far as dust can be sucked off a router!

As described and ordered
I didn't need this but when I saw it on offer for just £1.50 delivered it was a no-brainer to buy it as a spare for my router as sooner or later the original one will break. It's brilliant at removing dust from the router plunge base, easy to fit, and connects directly to the DVC750's vacuum hose. Recommended!

Works well
Does the job very well. Feels a bit flimsy but seems to flex a bit instead of breaking, which is nice. Saves a whole bunch of mess!

Well, it fits and it works.
But why on earth isn't it included with the plunge base? Super stingey Makita, super stingey. It fits fine with a little more of a push than I'd like and so far seems to pretty much do the job.

Good quality but FYI does not fit the katsu plunge base without mods

Same diameter as standard dust hoses means hoses fit neither inside nor outside the port, and must be taped on or have an adapter used. Dust collected is "better than nothing", but a far cry from other routers on the market

La base ad affondamento della Rt0700c, non è provvista del pezzo per aspirare la segatura, si è costretti ad acquistarlo a parte, montato ed entra perfettamente, per il momento sono soddisfatto.

Fits my Makita 18V router. It's a piece that's a bit hard to find. Wish they'd make it more available.
