Alpine Spj-161Cs 125 Watt Wired Speaker (Black)

Fell for alpine brand. Hv a polk db2 6x9 in the rear and wanted a good sounding speaker in the front with nominal bass if not to match the 6x9 atkeast to compliment them. But to my dismay it hears clear but zero bass. I run my system through a 4 channel jbl amp. Pls buy better ones.

No words for Alpine. After all it's Alpine. What to say. Crystal clear sound, powerful punchy response. Good bass. Damn good

These are entry level spkrs but Better than stock speakers sounds good mid and low is good in clarity but don't expect more in bass should be good with amp

No bass, no grills

Im using 2 in front and 2 in rear Bass is fine not so good but good for small cars U can use amp for great O/P

I was a little scared because of the low price but I’m really happy with it. The tweeter isn’t to my taste, a lot of chrome but it has soft sound not harsh at all and not overly bright. They are very efficient too I’m running them off a pioneer head unit and they sound great. I would not recommend running a large amp on them unless you have the high pass up near 120hz. They seemed to be maxed out on head power but that’s great for most people.

Turned out to be too deep for my application, also separate tweeters I didn't realize.

I bought these speakers to replace stock, I’ll replace stock speakers in the sleeper when I figure out how to get rear panel off without damage

Matched great with the Clarion XC1410 300W amp...
