Given to my grandparents (70+) and they have had the best time with it! Quality of the photos, accessibility of the app, the notifications and overall education it gives on the species is so impressive. It’s been outside for over a year and it’s thriving. A really great gift!

I absolutely love this bird feeder with camera! The image quality is clear, even during the day and at night, and the motion detection works very well. I enjoy watching different birds visit every day — it’s very relaxing and fun. The feeder is sturdy, easy to set up, and holds enough food for several days. The app is user-friendly and sends notifications right to my phone. Highly recommend this to all bird lovers!

If I could give this thing zero stars I would, and I’m not prone to giving bad reviews. The good: the camera and app for iPhone are easy to pair. That’s about it. The bad: 1. The feeder only holds maybe 2 cups of bird seed at most, meaning having to fill it daily. 2. The door one must open to add bird seed is maddening. It is too small, and catches on the roof overhang. The handle is a small little plastic loop that is nearly too small to pinch between my pointer finger and thumb. 3. The feeder cannot be filled while it is upright, due to the door not opening 90 degrees, and the small opening. So, take it off the stand, pry the door open, hold the feeder on an angle and try to fill the 2 cups of food. And do that daily. More often if squirrels find it, and they always do. 4. The camera is affixed to the feeder by sliding it into a cut-out in the front of the feeder. The only thing that keeps it there is a weak, circular magnet at the top. 5. I have the one with the solar roof, which ought to be a great feature, but the cable from the solar panels is awkwardly routed under the roof, and once it is plugged into the USB-C port on the top of the camera, the connection is exposed to the elements. Which isn’t the biggest problem - when the feeder ran out of food, a squirrel pulled the camera out of the feeder, which left it dangling by the cable. And the the squirrel chewed off the cable connector, so no more solar charging. Overall, the entire design is sorely lacking. They need to revise how the camera attaches to the feeder, increase the size of the food storage area, make the access door useable, and consider adding some metal where animals will likely try to chew through it to get to any remaining seeds. If I could send this thing back I’d do it in a heartbeat.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband. We received it yesterday and set it up this morning. He loves it so much that he is watching it constantly and looking at his phone for notifications of visitors at the feeder. What we love: + Quality Product - it is similar to opening up an iPhone - it is packaged perfectly + Simple set up + We already had our first bird on it within 20 minutes of set up + When we took it outside to place on our birdfeeder pole, the live view would not work the first time we tried it, but it worked fine when we tried it again and has worked since. + The App is free to download and install. The App notified us of our first bird visitor, a Tufted Titmouse, see photo of this bird at our Bird Buddy. This photo is called a postcard and came across our phone as a notification. We jumped into live view to watch - it was like Christmas morning for us to watch! FYI After our first bird notification and "postcard", we purchased the Bird Buddy Pro for $29.99 annually. I do not think we needed the Pro. I am not sure why we purchased it, but we can cancel it within the 7-day trial and get our money back for it. It wasn't necessary to get a notification of a bird at our feeder, and it is not needed to watch the live feed. CONS: + I was going to wrap and gift this to my husband, but he saw it when Amazon delivered it. It ships in a brand-marked box, with a My Bird Buddy in full color on two sides of the box, with a photo of a bird on it! There is no question at all what it is! It spoiled the surprise, though the packaging is excellent. If it is a gift and the recipient lives with you, they may see it upon delivery. + The charging cord we received is not USB-C which is what is advertised. We happened to have a cord for my husband's cordless screwdriver that plugged into the camera for the Bird Buddy to charge it. I posted a photo of the cord that came with the Bird Buddy which isn't usable for us. Noteworthy - we did buy the solar version. We charged it this initial time for one hour, and it told us it had a 75% charge, so we unplugged it and set it up. The instructions say it takes 2 hours to charge it, which isn't bad! It is a very cloudy day here and 8 hours after we set it up, it is still holding at the 75% charge. One last note, I read some reviews where the lights were hard to see. The instructions indicate the lights are faint. If you turn off the lighting in your room before going outside with the feeder, you can see the indicator lights. The room needs to be dark. The lights tell you what is going on while you are charging and syncing, connecting it so this is important. I hope this is helpful. We love it and are glad we got it.

Bought this for my mom‘s birthday back in March. After using it for a while I can tell you it is super cool to watch and see the birds that come up to the theater. Picture quality is very good. Only recommendation is to put it wherever you can to keep it out of reach of the squirrels. They will climb up on it, and you will get many squirrel shots, and they actually chewed through the top of hers and through the cord. So just be careful of where you place it, but it is a great feeder.

This is a really good bird feeder and camera, also really easy to set up. The AI for identifying species is also pretty good. It took a couple of days for the. It’s to work out where it was, but now we have lots of daily visitors we can view and identify!

Très bon produit, de bonne qualité, avec une bonne autonomie. Les cartes postales sont un bon moyen de ne louper aucun nouveau visiteur. La reconnaissance de l'espèce d'oiseau est dans la majeure partie des cas correcte.
