I wouldn't say I like using the powder flavoring recommended for making macarons because it never tastes as it should or I expect it to. I have had considerable success using many flavors by this brand. All, including this one, taste as they should. I also use: LorAnn CARAMEL Bun SS Flavor, 1 oz bottle LorAnn Strawberry-Kiwi Bun SS Flavor, 1 oz bottle LorAnn Cinnamon Bun SS Flavor, 1 oz bottle LorAnn Pear SS Flavor, 1 oz bottle LorAnn Watermelon SS Flavor, 1 oz bottle LorAnn Grape SS Flavor, 1 oz bottle This flavor tastes exactly as advertised. The PRICE is in the usual range.

Great flavor and consistency.

I ordered because it says for flavoring chocolate bars-- except chocolate for bars cannot be melted with water. It turns chewy. So, unless you are flavoring frosting or cake, it's kinda useless for melting to create chocolate bars. Flavor is ok though.

This is just the right flavor of raspberry to make raspberry iced tea. Just be sure not to use too much, or the tea will taste...weird. Weird, as in somewhat burnt. It's strange. Anyway, I have figured out the way to do it in general: Brew your tea however it is you always do it. Immediately after you take out the tea bags, and the tea is still piping hot, put 2-4 drops of this LorAnn raspberry extract into the tea. Mix well. Then proceed to chill and enjoy your tea as you always do. The 2-4 drops should be enough to lightly flavor 1/2 gallon of tea. For the first time you use this flavoring in your 1/2 gallon of tea, I recommend just 2 drops. If that turns out to not be enough flavoring, try 3 drops the next time you brew tea. Do not get generous with the drops! You will NOT like the result. This stuff is super concentrated. The ingredients on my bottle are as follows: Propylene glycol, water, artificial flavors, FD&C red 40, FD&C blue 1. There's no almond oil (or any other nut oil) in this flavoring, according to the ingredients printed on the side of the bottle.

Smells yummmmy!

After reading the good reviews I was SHOCKED by what I got. Chemical NASTY taste. I couldn’t quite put my finger on the nasty aftertaste until I had my daughter try it and she said it tasted like really bad cough syrup! The smell was terrible too!! Had to throw all my chocolates (was supposed to be raspberry buttercream) away. So much time and energy wasted 🤮

Used this to flavor a cake and it was delicious. Very potent, great real raspberry flavor. Smells amazing. Good quality and value for your money.

I purchase a lot of LorAnn products and I really don't find the extra strength that much stronger then the normal strength. At least not worth the extra money in my opinion. I do Like the flavor but it is not a strong flavor even with using double what the recipe calls for and using extra strength. But until I find one that does LorAnn is a good product at a okay price.
