The Magic Tree House Library: Books 1-28

The stories are indulging and has been written in a way that helps them to imagine things. And as each book has just 60-70 pages kids will find the satisfaction of completing a book in a day or so. Quality of books is just Okay ( binding and all is good but page quality is not that great). But the outer cardboard to keep all books is of no use as you once take out a book it's difficult to fit as the size is small.

Kids will love this adventures book..

My 6 year old daughter finally got addicted to reading book on her own.. well, if not reading, at least she's quietly spending a lot of time with these books. My only grouse is if I could have bought the UK version of this book set. I did not like the subtle differences in the US version. (I had bought a solitary book of the UK version before buying this book set, and I preferred the UK version more)

Never thought my 5yr old would take to chapter books so soon..the magic tree House series weave history, geography n cultural variabilities into enticing stories..n of course with dinosaurs, prehistoric animals n things like volcanoes n twisters thrown in..so no kids can resist them. An important tip for parents would be to keep atlases/globes handy. About d seller, d delivery was prompt, d packaging good as well as personalised with a note in an envelope.

Pros: Very good series. Every book has a interesting story. It's not only for kids. I recommend for all. I feel it's bit big for my five yr old. Kids will enjoy from age 7. Size is bit small for what I expected. But not bad for kids. Cons: Cheap quality of paper Poor pictures. No clarity. Black and white pictures. It's pathetic that not to be in colour. Kids will enjoy when it's colour. It will encourage the children to read more and more. I don't know is it because of I bought it in the offer? I bought for 1665+ 80 delivery charge.

Box is very flimsy but books are great. My daughter will love them. The UK version is much more appealing but this is not bad at all.

Coleção top. Vale muito a pena. Ótimo para crianças de 8-11a. Recomendo. Ler com as crianças e deixá-las lerem sozinhas.

I came across the Magic Tree House in a roundabout way through the French translation. I was immediately taken and they seemed to answer all my prayers and I ordered the box set. My son is just moving into chapter books and has struggled with distracting illustration or lack of fact. He does not do fantasy at all and loses interest very fast. For starters the layout of the pages was clear, no fancy wrap around pictures text, which makes reading harder for children who are moving onto chapter books. In fact most of the images are on separate pages. The images are clear and to the point, complementing the story effectively rather than great works of art competing with the text and distracting the reader. Some pages have no pictures. Great illustration is fine and fantastic in books read by parents to children but can really get in the way of a beginner reader trying to concentrating on the text. The stories are solid and sound based in reality with adventure and lots of fact. The Tree House device is not unlike the magic Key in the Oxford tree series. I think these are great follow on books at a great price, less the £2 per book! The two characters can be identified with. No poo or fart story lines here, thank goodness. My son's reading confidence is growing as he is working through his first chapter books. I am already a fan
