My Fiance got stitches in his hand (loop stitch). Instead of spending $500+ in a return trip to the ER to remove he was able to use this kit to easily, safely, and quickly remove the loop stitch. The value for money was certainly there not just in money but also time not having to sit in the ER. He felt better because the stitches were causing some pain and they felt like the skin had a lot of tension. The kit wasn’t very thick so it was easy to slide underneath and cut the stitches. He has large hands and the scissors felt good in his hands and not too tight. 10/10 really helpful kit (this review is not medical advice)

Easy to use one time kit. I had one suture that needed removed and this kit helped get it right out. Good price

The sterile suture kit was great and well organized with quality instruments. However, it does not include disposable gloves or alcohol wipes to sanitize the area, so those will need to be provided separately.

I had five stitches in my ankle and also a broken foot and shoulder I ordered this bc I dreaded the idea of going to have a doc while I could not safely move around without crazy pain, much less waiting in a waiting room! Ordered, was exactly what I expected. Took one minute to take sutures out (I had paid attention to how the doc had put them in). The tweezers are metal so they worked ok. The snips are blunt but you should be able to safely get the suture lifted up to snip without cutting yourself. Saves time and money if you don’t have complications with your sutures.

These tools rusted after the first use. I used them to remove oral sutures, sanitized them, and the next day they were rusted. They were terrible before the rust. Tweezers and scissors have to be squeezed very hard and the scissors didn’t even cut the suture one time and so when I pulled away thinking such a simple cut was made I pulled away and pulled on the suture. However they were so cheap and I got throughout and thought it was going to be just another mediocre product that I didn’t care to review. That was until I went to use them the next day and I was astounded to see they had rusted. Unbelievable that out of all the things where quality can be skimped, a suture removal kit is where it happens. I’m not asking for much, JUST DONT RUST. Also, bought them a little over 30 days ago. I don’t care about the money, I wish I could return them so that this company and Amazon have a horrible pos thrown back in their face. There are so many other options skip it like we do with everything else on amazon
