Quality Tool
Works well for my sheet metal bending projects. Easy to use and make your bends accurately. Plus it being a Crescent tool you know itโs made to last.

Great Tool, Great Price!
Best single use tool for the money. I had no experience working with sheet metal and needed to create an 18" x 20" cap to protect a sheet of wood from the elements. After researching tools and techniques for bending sheet metal, I was pretty discouraged, thinking I'd end up with edges that looked terrible from trying to hammer out a bend. Then I found this tool on Amazon and realized I could get it in 12". Once the sheet metal was cut to size, I was able to make straight 1" bends on all 4 sides within 5 minutes. I ran into some trouble on the first side because I bent one section of the run too far and had some difficulty sliding the tool down to complete the remaining half of the side. On the remaining sides, I made a partial bend and then slide the tool down to the other half of the side. A couple back and forth bends and the side was done!

Nice small metal bender
Bought this to bend panels for a hidden fastener roof and this is my first time using a tool like this. I have used a 10 foot brake but this is easier and quicker for smaller lengths. It I limited to 1/4 inch up to 1 inch bend which met my needs. Iโve bent at least 30 pieces and it has worked flawlessly. I would buy again but I donโt think Iโll need to. It will last for what I need.

It doesn't replace a break, good quality, good company
It's good for small pieces, with 1" or 3/8" bends. I do use it a bit custom jobs. In retrospect I should have got the 18" size. 24" pieces are many times hard to handle and need clamps. It suits my needs.

Handy tool
Iโve used this tool more than I ever imagined, on soffit, fascia, metal roofing and siding, etc

If you are on the install crew just buy it.
I honestly couldn't tell you the difference between the wiss, malco, or any other metal folding bar brand. I bought this one because the malco one at the supply house I remember being something ridiculously overpriced for what this is. It bends metal just fine. Only problem I personally have is I seem to run into the issue more often than not of this being too short. However a case could be made you might not be able to fit a bigger one say the 18 or the 24 in spots you can fit this one, and more than likely someone else has another 12 laying around and you can make due with two of them. If working alone I'd invest in two, probably the 12 and the 18, worst case if you need something longer you can just slap the two next to eachother and make bread. Other than that the Wiss one is perfectly capable for all your ductwork bending needs.

Does a Great Job.
I am roofing a Gazebo with a very complex roofing plan (all angles in increments of 15 degrees). This would work better with a $500.00 metal brake but I don't do roofing for a living so this is my cheap replacement. As such it is excellent for a home craftman. It is still as good as new after shaping over 30 sheets of thick guage galvenized pieces. NOT for professionals however. It will wear you out because it doesn't have a handle for extra leverage when bending heavy guage metal. Great tool for my purposes.

Works well for copper, aluminum, and 30-gauge sheet metal...
Wiss WF24 - 24-inch folding tool Wiss makes this tool in 12" and 18" width also. However, unless a likely application will require one of these shorter tools (e.g., that's all that will fit), the 24" model is the most all-around useful. I.e., you can bend any length with the 24". I've used this thing for copper, aluminum, and 30 gauge sheet metal, with good success. It also works for shorter lengths of 26 gauge sheet metal. However, you'd need to be Hercules to bend a 24" wide (or wider) section of 26 (or 24) gauge sheet metal -- as that metal is just too thick to give into a little wrist action. Maybe two guys together could do it? That's not a fault of the tool -- you'd need a much stronger bender for those tough jobs.
