Disney 78869 Sing & Sparkle Ariel Doll, Multicoloured

There are 2 versions of this doll, this is the better one. My daughter told me she wants the Ariel mermaid toddler doll for Xmas..i thought, no problem. At toys r us the doll was on sale for £25.00 so I put it in my basket to check out later. I went to check out and it wasn't in my basket anymore, so I typed it in the search bar and then discovered that there are two versions of the doll. This one which is: colours of the sea Ariel and the other one which is: under the sea Ariel. I looked at videos on YouTube to see what the difference was between the dolls apart from the bra's. This one (colours of the sea) sings, part of your world, her lights change colour and rotate in a circle like shape and she can be fully submerged in water, she also says a fair few phrases. The other one (under the sea) sings, under the sea, only the fins can be put in water not the whole doll, and it's lights light up the whole tail minus the fins in like a rainbow stripe form. The same features is that they both stand up, they both say the same phrases, apart from the songs and their voices sound exactly the same, you get a squirting flounder with both dolls as well. I think this one (colours of the sea) is the best one purely because she can be fully submerged in water, she also still sings and lights up under the water too. I know that I am reviewing this doll but I just thought I would let people know about both dolls so they can be sure to get the correct one. I would defiantly recommend this doll. My daughter is going to love her and will have lots of playtime in the bath and paddling pool with it. Also this doll is £40.00 RRP and I got it cheapest here for just under £30.00 with prime delivery.

Got this on offer so excellent, as when my kids were younger they had the Mattel one and this is for my granddaughter now. Lights up and sings

My daughter loves this. It’s quite large though!

My 6-year-old daughter has been asking for this doll for ages and she is very happy to finally have it. It's a decent size and repeats the same expressions over and over again. She sings a few lines from 'Under the Sea' (in an American girl's voice, not Sebastian's). Her tail glitters and lights up. Apparently, she can go in water but we haven't tried that yet. For a 6-year-old girl, it's fantastic. For a parent, it's annoying but the kid is happy so... yay!

I have yet to test this product in the bath, as I do think, once it gets wet, it won't be the same as it is new but overall I think the product is great. My daughter loves ariel, and sings along to the songs. I got this doll on offer however I wouldn't buy it at full price.

While this is great, ours stopped working even with a change of batteries after 6months

So beautiful my daughter loves it very solid so would last a very long time
