serves its intended purpose very well
love the super compact design. it's hard to fold back up and put into the cover the first several uses until it "breaks in" a bit. of course, as a compact umbrella, it's only suitable for light rain, but in heavier precipitation, it's better than nothing. seems very sturdy for a compact. the price is a tad higher than i'd like, but for a compact umbrella that also doubles as a compact parasol, not too shabby. i've had this product for about four and a half months.

it would be nice if the holder ribbon was attached to the case ...
The only issue I had with it is that when you hang it upside down to my bag, the metals keeps getting extended down to the floor and wont ramain locked. it would be nice if the holder ribbon was attached to the case rather than the umbrella itself.Love the size and wish there were more color options.

Holds up well
Withstood very high winds and did "flop" inside and out numerous times and still holding strong. Love the compact size as well.

Fun colour and strong, but a bit tricky to use
Lovely bright umbrella and pretty strong but quite awkward to put up and take down as the button on the stem is very small, and once opened, it's not at all easy to fold it back into its tidy case!

The UV layer makes a huge difference.
I purchased this as a traveling umbrella for rain as well as a parasol for a 2 month trip through the grueling heat of Southeast Asia. The size was perfect to back pack with. Kept me dry from the rain and felt nice and cool under the hot sun.

It Will Do
Not as wide as I wanted it to be but it is compact and won't take up much room. Hard to click in place for it to stay open. Not easy folding it back to place it in the cover for it.
