Well made, excellent fit.
Bought a fender amp for $5 because the inlet for sound was broken and wouldn't work. WARNING- this is an internal repair, requiring removing part from mother board and soldering on the new- requires familiarity with electronics repair!

Fixed my broken amp, 20+ years later
In the late 1980's I bought the hot new amp from Fender, a Super 60, all tube combo with a 12" speaker and 60 watts of tube goodness. It has two inputs, a low impedance and a high impedance that give very different sounds. Alas, not long after I bought it, a guitar slipped on a stand, and knocked into the cable plugged into the low impedance input breaking it.I have spent over 25 years playing only on the high impedance input, and while it sounded good, it was definitely not as punchy as the low impedance input. When I broke it in the 1990's I attempted to repair it, but I couldn't find a replacement jack, so I gave up.Not long ago, I thought what the heck, let me google it and behold, these amp jacks are available for < $10, so I ordered it up, and one weekend rolled up my sleeves, disassembled the amp, got access to the port, and removed the old, replaced with the new, and plugged it all back together.Works a treat, and I was blown away with how much I loved that low impedance channel. It really was key to the awesomeness of this amp, and the reason why 33 years ago I opened my wallet to buy the first one I heard. It is a little tricky to get inside the amp, but once I did, it was an easy operation to replace, then reassemble.

Fender input jacks 1/4"
I ordered this product to replace the broken input jacks on a Fender guitar amplifier. The jacks which are 4 pin were an exact fit and worked well. The price was right, and they came with mounting hardware.

Expensive but decent quality...they work!!
Repairing an old guitar amp...the input jack was damaged. Needed a replacement in a hurry so purchased these from Amazon as they arrive in 2 days. This style has an internal switch that opens when you insert the plug. Typically in a guitar amp this switch shorts the input to ground to reduce noise when nothing is plugged in. This jacks connection pins fit perfectly into the amp circuit board and it functioned exactly like the original.Expensive for what they are...you can get these for under $2 at an electronics shop. That said they do seem to be decent quality...and they worked perfectly. Probably won't buy them again due to cost.

Original part
One of my older Fender amplifiers was malfunctioning. The jack seemed loose. When I opened it I found out that one of the contacts was broken. I ordered this jack which arrived quite quickly. Replacing the broken jack was quite easy (you need to be comfortable with soldering iron). There are four connectors that needed to be heated at the same time to remove broken jack. The replacement jack fitted into the same place nicely and after the soldering - voila - the amplifier works again.Good value for money, priceless feeling of accomplishment when you hear that amp being loud again.
