Works really well. Seamless Integration with other tapo products
This smart switch feels well built and works as they say. It requires a tapo hub to work. I bought the Tapo H100 for that purpose. And it works fast and efficiently as expected. It's a bit on the expensive side though. Should have been cheaper than 1000rs at least. But anyways it works as advertised and I am happy with the performance. Good addition for home automation. Since it uses sub GHz waves to communicate to the H100 Hub, it doesn't add any additional load to my WiFi Installing this was also easy as it comes with standard square switchbox sizing. It doesn't consume any additional energy because it uses 2 AAA batteries which came in the box. Looks clean after installation. Would be nice if they make it more affordable.

Good, but schedule resets if you press button manually
I absolutely love the Tapo ecosystem. The devices are fairly reliable and reasonably priced and work as intended. This device is no different. I have been using these for almost an year to control my front gate lights and it works great. But it has one major flaw - If we switch off the lights by pressing the physical switch, it treats it like a hard power cut off and disables the automation, so if anyone else in my family turns off the physical switch there is no power in the switch and it kinda becomes offline to run any automation. I feel this logic is flawed and somewhat limiting and could easily be fixed if they treat the two inputs ( the physical switch and the app) as two-way switches. And before you ask, yes the physical switch is like a toggle so it doesn't really get fixed to an ON or OFF state. And also it doesn't really cut off power completely, because if it did, then how can we switch it on from the app? So yes, TP link if you are listening please do something about this, and that would make this near perfect!
