I’m very impressed with this air fryer. It heats up quickly and reaches 450°F, which makes a big difference for browning and crisp texture. I made frozen broccoli and it came out roasted with crispy edges — far better than microwaving. Ribeye turned out perfect as well, with a great sear and juicy inside.The 6.5-quart size is ideal. It’s large enough for vegetables or a steak without overcrowding, but not too bulky. It feels solid, looks great on the counter, and the controls are straightforward. Cleanup is simple and hassle-free.Highly recommend. I like it so much I’m tempted to bring it on vacation.

This is my third air fryer in 5 years. I used the first two almost daily (The first was a Phillips, the second a Gourmia) and both essentially quit after a couple years (basically neither would turn on when I pushed the air fryer basket into the unit). I am hoping this Cosori lasts longer. It looks sleek and weighs a little less than my previous two units. The digital controls are easy to read and use. The cooking basket is roomy...allows me to warm two slices of pizza at once or brown enough fries for 3-4 people. So far, the fryer seems to cook evenly and does seem to cook my food a little quicker than my previous units. I worried about the rack insert falling out as some reviewers noted, however it seems to fit snugly enough that that doesn't seem to be a big issue. The fryer basket basket is a breeze for easy clean-up (I've done it by hand and in the dishwasher- hand rinsing seems to work quickly and well enough for a fast easy clean-up for less messy meals).So far, this fryer is my favorite of the three I've owned for ease of use, frying quality and ease of clean-up. I use an air fryer almost daily for quick food warming, toasting of buttered bread and frying of freezer snacks like fries, chicken nuggets, egg rolls, etc.The only thing I would have done differently from a design standpoint is adding a device in the back for winding the cord around. Both my previous units had a cord control device which makes storage in the pantry easier. But, that aside, I love the unit and am I glad I chose this fryer.

I had a Instant Vortex Plus 6-Quart Air Fryer which was a very good unit, but when I noticed the release of the Cosori Iconic Stainless Steel 6.5 Qt Air Fryer which has a PFAS-Free Ceramic Coating, and a Maximum temperature setting of450°F, as opposed to the Instant Vortex Plus only having a maximum temperature setting of 400°F, I decided to give the Cosori a try. I am extremely glad I did. The Cosori Iconic has performed flawlessly. I am able to achieve much better crispy crust results on chicken and it seems to have more uniform results on all the food in the basket than the Instant Vortex unit. Other things I like about the Cosori Iconic is the lack of the forced preheat that the Instant Vortex had. On the Instant Vortex unit this preheat time was not timed so you could not just place things in the unit and let it go. The Cosori Iconic starts timing immediately so you can set a couple of extra minutes if you want to preheat then remove the basket when these expire and the unit stops timing. You can insert the food and replace the basket and timing starts covering the recipe time you wanted. Another interesting feature is the shake button. If you do the preheat thing, then hit the shake button when you put the basket back in, it calculates shake time based on the time the unit was displaying when you inserted the basket so your shake timer activates at the correct time for the recipe not on the time with the added preheat. Reliability appears to be excellent based on the warranty period so even though my time with the Iconic has been limited this and the apparent quality of the unit would seemingly indicate excellent long term reliability. From a safety perspective, the Cosori Iconic stays cool enough to touch on all surfaces with the exception of the area immediately surrounding the vent on the rear of the unit. The vent directs output upward which is a plus as it directs the output up and away from any wall to the units rear which will reduce suspended grease particles and heat from blowing directly onto anything to the units rear. The unit is also fairly quite so as to not be an intrusion if you have a kitchen adjoining your living room where family members may be watching TV, so cranking up the TV volume to compensate for kitchen noise will not be required.Well, that was kind of rambling, but bottom line, I am extremely pleased with the Cosori Iconic air fryer, and have greatly enjoyed cooking with it. Price-wise it is a more expensive option, but I feel it is worth every penny and will be a grate addition to my kitchen.
