Nice books from 2yrs and above - recommended by a 5yr old to me
I was recommended this author by a 5 yr old when I was asking his parents for books for my toddler. The book has very simple words, nice drawings, enough so you can easily turn pages and yet make sounds. Initially my kid liked only half the book and now she loves it next to the 'Goodnight Moon' book.

Me and my 2 yr kid's favourite author
Love all three books in this series. This story is funny, silly and has aliens. Illustrations are simple and beautiful. One or two lines per page. Easy for 2.5 ye old to concentrate on a single scene. The words used are perfect as they are what she has been learning nowadays. So helps reinforce her learning.

One More Fantastic Book from Jeffers
May not be as good as writer's classic Lost and Found, yet it deserves five stars. The same little boy, one whom we first met in Lost and Found and then in Up and Down, has to land on the moon because his aeroplane runs out of petrol. On the moon, he meets a Martian adventurer like him, whose spaceship is out of order. Both the boys help out each other and become friends. We hope Jeffers continues with the story of developing friendship of the two boys living on different planets. My son loves the book. After receiving the copy, we have already made three readings. I also appreciate Amazon for giving me a refund of Rs.100/-- because the book had become crumpled due to poor packaging. I am a book collector and like to keep books for a long time in my library. Hence, the book's condition matters. Thanks Oliver Jeffers for one more wonderful book. We now have ALL THE BOOKS by the writer. And thanks Amazon for excellent service!

Engaging
This is very engaging. The huge pages have something going on that you can ask the child to describe. It goes well with the bedtime for a under 5 year old hyperactive child.
