I've ordered both the 10ft roll and smaller 54inch rolls multiple times. About 75% of the time when I order the smaller rolls, I am sent the gloss ones, as if the warehouse has a labeling issue. The 10ft one is always the matte one. The matte one is the one that I like, and it is great. However, I do need to reach out to the seller, because unfortunately after only about 6months in direct sunlight it has completely peeled off and separated from the product I had adhered it to. This isn't a huge issue for me as I did not plan to use it mainly in the sun always, but I had put it out there to test if I could expand in that direction. It is clear, not fuzzy, does not scratch, and looks quite nice. It is the only matte vinyl I've found that is actually matte.

Reviewed: Gloss Finish, 17.9" x 54" 2-Roll Item as described; but note they shipped my "two roll pack" as one roll. I complained to Amazon because I actually thought it was only a single roll. In my pack; they put the two rolls back to back and "rolled" them together so they appear as one roll -- probably to prevent the roll from "squish" damage since it doesn't have a stiffener in the roll. Additionally; the picture above gives you the impression this is a 54foot roll given how thick the roll is in the picture and the fact that it has a "cardboard" insert. VViViD actually rolls this very tightly - probably less than 1inch in diameter so your final products will have quite a bit of curve to them when they leave your machine. The picture problem isn't unique to VViViD… many other sellers of ORACAL mislead the customer as well. The product meets the needs of the hobbyist doing personal products; but I would not recommend this product for doing professional products you intend to sell. The tightly wound "sample" combined with the relatively thin material means your products aren't going to stay flat. Finally; VViViD doesn't actually provide any stackup diagrams or descriptions of how the material is made. For example 3mil of material??! 1mil of ?Acrylic? adhesive?! How many mils of paper backing is included? These are pretty critical for setting up a Vinyl cut job on most machines and for making sure the adhesive is compatible with the intended application. I can tell you that the glue + material seems to be 4mils... so if the description is correct @ 3mils for the Vinyl... 1mil for the adhesive and the paper backing appears to be 4.5mils for a total of 8.5mils.

This peels very easily and has a perfect semi gloss finish. I used a professional heat press to seal this to a dull poster. Worked perfect, loved the results

I use this laminate for stickers and love the texture that it gives them.

I used this to go over my stickers before sending them to cut through my machine. It was easy to use, worked really well, and looks great! I just need to buy more next time.

Certainement un excellent produit (je connais 3M) mais arrivé dans un état épouvantable...emballé dans un simple saran wrap...5 pieds de long...imaginez... les côtés sont brisés, souillés pour ne pas dire moisis et le rouleau était déjà déroulé, sali, coqué... j'ai dû le recommander mais j'ai reçu un service impeccable d'Amazon qui a su régler mon problème rapidement. J'espère toutefois que le prochain arrivera mieux emballé... *** 2ème essai*** je l'ai recommandé et reçu aujourd'hui...il était dans un état pire que la première fois...je connais ce produit qui est fabuleux de qualité et c'est vraiment triste qu'il soit seulement emballé dans un saran wrap...cette pellicule est fragile et doit être protégée, sinon inutilisable... la 2ème commande est arrivée pire que la première :-( Finalement je vais essayer un format plus petit qui malheureusement n'est pas mat mais bien brillant et j'espère qu'il va arriver dans une boîte, tel que montré sur la photo... Encore une fois j'ai reçu un service impeccable de Amazon...

I got the double roll of matte finish-IT IS NOT MATTE at all, super glossy. Disappointed. Works well for glossy lamination, but just disappointed because I wanted matte.

I initially bought this clear lamination vinyl roll because I make stickers and I thought this would be a great way to preserve the quality of the sticker. PROS: 1. you get a of it for your money 2. its easy to use application wise 3. its super clear it will not ruin the art of whatever you are sealing 4. its sticky but not too sticky. once you get the vinyl on sticker paper you definitely will not want to remove it to start over or whatever, it will ruin the piece. get it on right the first time and it'll be really nice, clear, and shiny. CONS: 1. its too thick for sticker makers. I use a Cricut explore to die-cut my stickers. Even when my blade pressure was on the highest pressure ... it still didnt cut all the way through. For cricut users you may want to use a more heavy duty blade or change your cricut setting material to something thicker so your cricut knows to cut deeper. I give this a 4/5 stars because it is really good clear vinyl for your dollar. I got 2 rolls and it will last me a very long time. I did not give it the extra 1 star because it does not meet my standards with regards to the thickness. BUT, if you do want a thicker vinyl it may be for you.

I purchased this Matte Finish and the Gloss Finish separately and there is no difference between the 2. If you want Matte finish don't buy this because you will be disappointed. It's a quality vinyl with excellent adhesive but it's got a glossy finish.
