Ski jacket for your head!
Really warm and I use a merino wool (regular beanie) liner with it. It is like a ski jacket for your head when it is really cold.

Needs to be longer to cover ears
The hat is warm and packs very small; however even with the XL I find it riding above my ears and I have short hair, probably would not buy it again since XL is as big as they sell, my head is about 23 inches circumference

Looks adorable, on both my fiancé and myself. Keeps our heads toasty warm without being so tight that is messes up our hair. Seems pretty water repellant, too. Packs down to a little ball, perfect for travel!

NEGATIVE 3 STARS. IRREGULAR ITEM WAS SHIPPED. Missing tags. Care labels had been cut off. Item being marketed as NEW! It was irregular, a factory second or used customer return. Not only was this $3 more than ordering a brand new item direct from the manufacturer (also with free shipping), but this COST ME $7 TO RETURN. I want my money back. item was MISREPRESENTED, and I'm out $7. THERE SEEMS TO BE NO RECOURSE.

works well
an easy way to keep head warm

Wish this had some sort of lining inside for warmth and softness in winter.
This would be perfect IF it had a fleece type thin inner lining. Really wanted to like this...Not sure if I will keep it yet as it feel like the sleeve of a thin ski jacket inside. Not sure how warm it will be with just the thin ski jacket material.
