Real great headphones with multi featured voices to switch to.

excellent sound quality
Since my cell phone no longer has a headphone jack, a USB earbud set is required. It is an excellent device to use on trips or wherever you don't want your sound to disturb others. Handy case is well-made.

Resistant to tangling, bass/clear voice mode useful, voice alteration is silly
The AKUBSKU buds have fairly thick, rubber-like wires that feel stronger than the typical thin plastic wires most buds have and they don't tangle as easily. Buds magentize to each other to further reduce tangling. Mic quality and sound quality are good and they're comfortable. Karaoke voice changing is gimmicky but the option to add bass or make voices more clear seem useful. A strip of buttons on the wire for the left bud let you do various things. Tapping the "music mode" switch on the side cycles between normal, bass, voice enhancement, clear voice, and game mode. Bass mode increases bass, voice enhancement and clear voice seem like two methods of making voices in music easier to hear compared to the music - they're both reasonably effective. Game mode makes left and right audio channels sound further left and right than normal, presumably to try to help you hear what direction sounds in games are coming from. The "sound mode" button alters your voice. You hear your voice altered in the ear buds while anyone you're talking to just hears the altered version. KTV, Concerts, and Recording Studio mode sound almost identical, just adding a lot of reverb to your voice. Male deepens your voice. Female sounds like a high-pitched asian girl while Children makes me into a chipmunk. All the modes seem just for laughs - they don't sound realistic or improve your voice. Three more buttons let you raise/lower the volume, skip tracks, pause/play, answer/leave a call, or reject a call. AKUBSKU sounds like a temporary company name but I found reviews as old as March 2022 on some of their many product offerings, so maybe they'll stick around to support these buds. I don't think the "sound mode" (aka Karaoke) feature is worth much, but the bass boost and clear voice effects seem pretty well done and overall quality seems good on first impression so I rate them 4 stars for now.

Great set of earbuds!
I really like this set of earbuds! I was looking for a basic set for my phone. Mine are ALWAYS getting taken by the kids so the little discrete carrying case is awesome. My favorite part is that it had a C port so no adapter necessary! These are a great, powerful set of buds at a great price as well!

Great sound
These earbuds have very good sound quality. They are easy to use and the case is very handy. There are extra cushions in case you need them to get the best fit. One thing that I was sad about is that they do not work with my iPhone 11. They have a USB-C plug and I tried using a USB-C to lightening adapter but that did not work. My husband was excited because he can use them with his iPad Air. Good price for a quality product.

Decent pair of headphones!
I was looking for an inexpensive pair of wired headphones. These work well and have pretty decent sound considering they aren’t very pricey! I keep these as backup for times I forget to charge my wireless headphones.

Great except for the ringing noise
Packaging: The packaging for these earbuds is nice. They come in a hard shell zipper case that has a small elastic mesh pouch on the inside. In the pouch are the instructions that tell you what all of the buttons do, and a set of both small and larger earbud tips. I plan on taking out the instructions and extra tips and just using the pouch to secure the earbuds in the case so they don't fall out if I unzip it. Build Quality: The cord for the earbuds feels heavy duty- it's not flimsy or cheap feeling. It's thicker and has some weight to it, probably from whatever the coating is. I do not think it will crack or break any time soon. It does make the earbuds a tad heavy though. They kept falling out of my ears until I changed the tip size. Speaking of which, the differently sized silicone earbud tips are nice too. They are a bit tricky to get on and off, but I think it is a good thing. I know they won't pop off and end up stuck in my ear. The USB-C plugs in nicely and does not wiggle or crackle. Sound Quality: While the cord is securely plugged in, there is a soft and high- pitched ring that won't go away. It's kind of annoying but isn't very loud. With good music on, it can easily be ignored. I mostly notice it when the song gets quiet or changes, but I can consistently hear it throughout if I try to. There are a lot of sound modes on these earbuds. I'm not really sure what they all do, but you can flip through and find your preference. The "Game Mode" is nice. I think it enhances the sound, increases the volume, and makes the sound more surrounding. "Voice Enhancement" seems to put a weird filter on, and "Clear Voice" makes everything sound sort of flat. "Normal Mode" is, well, normal. "Mega Bass" sounds really nice actually. I'm quite enjoying it. However, when switching listening modes there is a voice that tells you what mode you're on. It's so loud it hurts my ears, so I don't think I'll change modes very often. Unfortunately, there is no way to make it quieter. Additionally, the voice has a very heavy accent and does not pronounce the English mode names correctly. I wish there was a way to disable it, or at least turn it down. Other Functions: The buttons work well. Volume up, down, and pause all worked just fine for YouTube and Spotify. I did not test any of the functions for the voice changing option. It seems weird, but I guess it's nice to have the option? I doubt I'll ever use it. The microphone quality was about the same as my built- in laptop microphone, said the person I called on Discord. While using the microphone on a Discord call, the audio quality decreased drastically, and I was able to hear myself, which I did not like. I could hear who I was talking to wonderfully when on music mode (blue light), but in order for them to hear me I had to change to sound mode (green light), and then the audio quality was terrible. The MFB button did not work to hang up from the Discord call either, even after I closed YouTube and Spotify. I believe the earbuds have an anti-tangle function. It seems like there are magnets within the buds that cause them to stick together. I'm not sure if it's helpful or not. I hope that they don't get scratched from banging into each other. They came with protective plastic where they stick together that I have not yet removed. Overall, these earbuds are decent. If I had to pay the $22 for them, I would return them because of the ringing noise. However, I do like the different sound modes they come with. They feel like they will last, so I can deal with the ringing. I also like the idea of a zippered case to store them in, and I appreciate the differently sized earbud tips.
