Any suggestions for best way to keep it from sliding on a granite countertop?

A standard restaurant solution is to dampen a kitchen towel or two, wring out excess moisture, then place flat on counter and put board directly on kitchen towel. With granite counters so popular in homes nowadays it may require the purchase of a rubber cutting board mat, which we also use in the restaurants. I think the rubber mats provide superior non-slip features especially if the surface is dampened slightly before setting the board on top. These are also available on Amazon, just be sure to match up size of board with that of the mat as close as possible.

Does it have a groove on both sides? I actually dont want a grove but could flip it over.
