This is a fantastic laptop. I bought it for use in my business, and it has made everything so much easier.The touch screen makes it quick to navigate to the various sites I need.

I would give this computer 5 stars but I feel like I have to constantly charge it. I find it very frustrating as a college student.

Overheats and freezes. If support can't figure this out, it will be returned.Update: HP support said the system had only 8gb and 512kb storage! HP parts had been replaced with foreign parts which nullified warranty. Total Scam. buyer beware.

If you are looking for a cheap laptop with decent specs then this is a good choice.If you are looking for a solid computer that you can upgrade you should find something else.I got this laptop for my girl because she loved the color, and because it had good specs for the price.First problem is that the ram slots are inaccessible from the outside of the laptop. Usually you just take off the plastic plate. but with this one you have to take the whole laptop apart, down to the motherboard, and flip it over. This involves disconnecting the motherboard from the whole laptop housing. I only found all of this out because I had to take it apart to find out why it wouldn't charge. Turns out it was a bad motherboard and I had to send it back to HP.Which brings me to the second problem which is that there is no fan to cool the processor, just an empty spot where there would be one. It relies on the heatsink alone to cool the processor. Which cannot be upgraded as far as I could see. This seems to make the laptop run slower at times.Third, even after returning it to HP to have the motherboard replaced, the trackpad still has issues where sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. So my girl uses a external mouse to avoid the problem. In addition, the charger isn't the typical HP laptop charger, it's way smaller. Which isn't a deal breaker, it's just annoying that I can't just use the same charger as the rest of the HP laptops I've owned.Overall it's not a horrible laptop for a typical user. The price is good and it would be great for watching movies. However, if you are like me and like to do your upgrading yourself, then this is not the laptop for you.
