Great item making it fun and stable to kayak with kids on adventures. Easy to fit before achieving the full pressure needed in the pontoons.

I was worried about how easy this would be to install based on some reviews but it was a piece of cake. With regard to it’s effectiveness, I couldn’t be happier, we have previously never managed to take the kayak out without having several incidents of it turning/ drifting in the river. First trip with this attached and we did our longest journey to date with no incidents of turning/ drifting at all. It has made a huge and positive difference to kayaking. If you are struggling without one, this will be the best £25 you spend!

This is probably the cheapest of Sevylor's inflatable kayaks and can be bought for around £85. Amazon's prices are hard to beat - especially when they offer some kit (paddle & pump) for the price.This is a basic model...no skeg (keel) was offered to me - though some sellers offer this as an option (for around £20) - and the seats are very simple: one is attached and the other is separate & its position can be adjusted. The paddle has plastic blades & an aluminium shaft: it can easily be split into two...it is, however, too light & flimsy for serious or lengthy paddling.Easy and quick to inflate, despite having to use different nozzles for different areas of inflation. The instructions are minimal & not especially helpful - but it isn't a complicated process, The Sevylor stirrup pump is very good!This isn't a toy and you can use it on lakes & rivers quite safely: wouldn't want to be swept far out to sea though as paddling for ones life would be too much like hard work!

A must for all kayakers this made the difference between going in circles and actually getting somewhere

The fin has clearly improved the stability and control of the kayak. tested on the sea and in small waves. with skeg you can keep a straight direction I have waw thinking for a long time whether to buy it because it costs a lot of money considering that it is only plastic. but i can recommend this skeg.. it's a great thing

Why does Sevylor not sell this with the kayak when you buy it. A skeg makes so much more difference
