Everything I wanted....AND more!!
As soon as I received my package in the mail, I immediately opened it up. Let me first say, this baby monitor is everything I wanted PLUS more!!!!!! OMG where do I begin? Touchscreen, wireless (which is exactly what I needed), rechargeable battery, and so many other features...I don't know what else I could possibly ask for. I also really love the bright LED light feature. I highly recommend this baby monitor for first time Mommies (like myself) and others who are just looking to monitor a specific room within their home.Lastly (because I know I wrote a lot) for the fact that this came with a 1 year warranty, that just made me feel even better about purchasing this specific monitor. On another note, my sister-in-law is currently pregnant (due date is in March) and she has already hinted to me that she would like this for her baby shower. Little does she know, I will purchase one for her right after I post this review lol.I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

DO NOT BUY THIS!
Do not buy this thing. After about 6 months the screen flipped upside down from out of nowhere, then 2 months later the screen completely went blank and could no longer pair with the camera. We had to send it back (free of charge) for a replacement. Took about a week for that, and got that 2 weeks ago... It seems like they sent us a brand new unit and guess what? Screen flipped upside down again today. I am so irritated by this thing! It should be free. But aside from all that above, let me tell you why the thing is worse than every other monitor out there even if it worked flawlessly.1. You can't dim the screen. It's bright as ever at night and you have to cover it with something to keep it kind of dark in the room. (We keep the monitors on to see our kids if they wake up at night.)2. You can't mute the sound. Babies cry, and sometimes they cry for no reason due to separation anxiety, especially during that 8-10 month sleep regression. Okay, you just can't go in there when the water works start, they have to learn to soothe themselves. So during that, we still want to watch our daughter, but not hear the wailing. With this unit you can't mute. The other unit (which has a lot less features, has been solid for 2 years now! No complaints. It was more expensive though) You can easily mute and adjust volume.3. The microphone is TOO good, and you can hear our son sneeze in the other room, WITH THE DOORS CLOSED! Sheesh, this thing picks up everything. We play ocean sounds at night for her, she likes them but heck we can hear it too, LOL. Then again, you can't mute the darn thing.4. Finally the video sucks. It's a very low frame rate and it looks like a robot moving when she does move. Our other monitor moves in real-time and is a lot more fluid so we can actually see our son as if it were a camcorder. In conclusion.... don't buy this, spend the extra coin on something BASIC. The bells and whistles aren't necessary. A good frame rate, mute button, and screen dimmer is what you really want to look for. I wish we would've just got an additional camera to our other monitor. Which was an infant optics with the blue face.

The good, the bad and the ugly
The product eases my concern of not being able to hear my baby at night. I do not like how in the power save mode it beeps when the baby makes a noise, it's very loud and annoying. But if it's not in power save mode it has to be plugged in or it dies in about 4 hours. Shipping was also very slow. It arrived 6 days after the scheduled delivery date.

Good camera, so so baby monitor, awful functions
This product is a decent baby monitor but doesn't really have any of the features expected from a baby monitor. Having one that is much more expensive and has movement monitoring plates, I was disappointed in this bay monitor. This is why I will compare a little.Cons:- good picture quality- good battery (lithium)- you are able to connect more than one cameraPros:- constant static in the speaker,- the sound goes on even if there is no movement and sound in the room (even if room is empty at night or the baby sleeps),- orientation of the screen (you have to put it on the side of the crib to be able to see the whole crib, the one I have is vertical, so you can put it on the bottom of the crib at his feet)- useless functions, not meant for baby monitor but security cam, like movement/sound monitoring (sound monitoring would be OK, but movement? - babies move so what),- you can't turn the screen off and still see the reception and battery life (just turn off the video feed, so the screen is dark but still shows camera, reception and battery),- beeping when in motion detection mode (who want's to be woken up each time baby moves - our moves 10x an hour),- no way to turn the night light off,- no way to turn the sound off,- icons are some how confusing and functions don't always have + and -,- volume Up-Down should be there on the side,It's cheap and it works, but I wouldn't buy it again. Good picture isn't everything you wish in a baby monitor. Since we are using the other monitor for a newborn, I am stuck with this one for a while.

Works well, easy to setup.
This works well and was easy to setup. The only downside is the battery life, the charge will only last 3 hours or so. Assuming you can leave it plugged in for the evening which for us is not a problem, it will work great for you. This was mentioned in other reviews and I was glad I knew that when I bought it. Other than that, so far so good.On a completely separate note, I wish it didn't look like a kid's toy and have a user interface like a kid's toy; but for the price it has been helpful.
