750 Knitting Stitches

Its a very good compilation of various knitting stitches.Im just starting to learn knitting,as I prefer crocheting,however,Im finding the explanations pretty easy to follow.Since we Indians have a different terminology,one will have to read the beginning sections quite diligently.Absolute beginners might need help from you tube,as only cable stitches have charts.But the book lacks explaining how to incorporate these stitches into sweaters ,cardigans,socks etc, where shaping is required.It only is a stitch resource book,and quite an extensive one.

Per il prezzo che costa, trovo che la quallità del anuale sia davvero indecente. Dei punti che ho provato tra quelli descritti nel testo, l'80% riportava istruzioni sbagliate!!!!! Si trattava per lo più di istruzioni scambiate tra due punti riportati nella stessa pagina, ma trovo che per un testo di questo livello questi errori, soprattutto se ripetuti, siano inaccettabili. Peraltro le istruzioni sono solo scritte e non ci sono charts. Le foto invece sono belle e molto chiare. Nel complesso, non lo ricomprerei.

De nombreux modèles de points. Il est bien, mais j'aurai aimé des points plus complexes. On retrouve le même genre de livres en français.

Es un libro en el que vienen fotos con los patrones correspondientes para hacer muchísimos tipos de punto. También tiene patrones de Fair Isle y patrones para hacer diferentes terminaciones a los trabajos de punto. Aunque está en inglés, basta con aprenderse lo que es punto del derecho, del revés y poco más para entenerlo todo.

i just started knitting in 2024. took on a huge project as my 1st (10'x6' blanket). I used this book to try to learn so many different stitches. the way they organize and explain stitches was perfect for this newbie. still refer back to this book a year later. easy way to learn about cable stitches. their explanation is just superb.

I didn't know wether to buy this or not and after asking some questions I took the plunge to buy it, I am so glad I did. I has some of the basics for beginners, casting on, casting off etc, but the book is based essentially on different types of knitting stitches and wow there are some beautiful stitches in this. It covers plain and purl, cables, colour work and lace. Whilst I have not tried cables, lace or colour work it has now given me the urge to try it and I can not wait!! I am so pleased I bought it as a hardback book and this will be a great reference for me and any knitter experienced or not. It's a great price and worth every penny in my words, probably one if not the best books I have come across.
