Even for beginners! - I am just a beginner and so the following views may appear crude to some. I am but a drawing enthusiast! Great book to learn technical drawings. Equally good for those in India who never have had any experience in drawing but want to self-learn and excel in the field. This is where one can begin with. For engineers, some of the chapters will very well relate with the undergraduate course on engineering drawing. Except, it later leans on the artistic side, which is the prime goal for wannabe artists who love to accurately draw cars, planes and any such machines, imaginary or real, but aesthetically pleasing or even mesmerizing! I am an engineer by profession and consequently bought this book to develop a hobby that once was part of my life (in school days, like many of you). This book is a complete course for self-learning individual on a beginners stage. My goal, as I'd like to think of it, is to learn every thing there is about drawing and colors. I find it satisfying and worth to spend my life on. This book feels great to start with. Great balance between the number of illustrations and accompanying text. The brevity is impeccable. Great print! It also has a AI based image recognition app that scans some of the drawings in books and then plays a corresponding tutorial video of how the said drawing was approached, by none other the Mr. ROBERTSON. My only regret is that I should have bought it in Hardcover instead of paperback. PS: Also, I am trying to learn human anatomy, in parallel with this outstanding book. This man is the master of technical perspective. And teaches you loads of things. For any aspiring artist/engineer, this is a must have. Although I suggest if you're a beginner, you should read perspective made easy by Ernest. R. Norling first and then move onto this. But ultimately it's your choice.
