On Stage LSB-6500 Lighting Truss Carry Bag

This bag was constructed to hold the truss that I had purchased. All of the components fit in the bag, along with cables and tools needed for assembly. The zippers extend to the base of the bag, which greatly helps in getting everything to fit. The only issue I have is that it is a VERY tight fit when putting in the vertical supports. I would appreciate a bit more room on the ends to be able to squeeze these in. Excellent construction in the bag and reinforcement in the handles. It does very well. Thank you!

The On-Stage Truss Gig Bag is very well made and serves the purpose for which it was designed. The gig bag holds a considerable amount of weighted material and both long and bulky enough to stuff extra tree stands in with a full truss system. It is true that it would be more convenient, if the gig bag was longer in order to not have to break the truss system fully down to put it back in the gig bag. However, the gig bag is longer than a typical speaker stand bag. This, in my opinion, would make the gig bag too long if it was designed for a person who would like that added conveniece. I do agree that and added storage compartment pocket would be extra nice. However, there is ample room to put your hardware in a zippered bag and fit it in the gig bag. I believe you will be happy with the On-Stage Truss Gig Bag and not regret its purchase. There are also multiple other uses, as you could imagine, for transporting gear around with this unit. Most of all, the price is unbeatable on Amazon.com.

I got this along with the On-Stage LS7730. I am unable to attest to the durability of it, but seems as though it will hold up well. All of the seams are pretty heavy duty, and the bag is made of thick nylon with a padded interior. The stand that I fit into it is pretty large, and there is more than enough space in this bag to accommodate it. I put the 5 foot truss sections in first across the bottom of the bag, and they take a little bit of stretching the bag to insert, as they are just as long and wide as the bag. All of the other pieces go in easily and there is plenty of room to put another smaller bag in there to hold any extra pieces or hardware you might need. I would like to see flaps in the bag to protect the different parts from scratching, but that is just getting picky. I am over-all very pleased with this purchase

I use it for photography lightstands. Works great, really sturdy. Fit all but my geared boom. Minus one star for lingering newly-manufactured-smell (I had to leave it outside for a few days) and skinny handles. Beefier, padded handles would be worth another 10 bucks. Maybe trusses aren't as heavy as 6-7 lightstands. Update 2/3/2018: I've used it to move stuff about a dozen times. The smell is long gone. But the zipper pull just broke, the metal was pretty thin and brittle. I was able to easily snap it between my fingers. I'm not deducting another star since it's a pretty inexpensive bag and you can't expect premium zippers. I tied some thin nylon rope through it to replace the zipper pull.

Just delivered 15 minutes ago. The packaging left something to be desired, but the product itself was in excellent condition. As soon as I unpacked it, I knew I had a winner. I had my doubts that this one bag would fit my entire truss unit. I was mistaken. The bag itself is very well made, rigid in the right places, and the handles are very sturdy. True, it doesn't come with a shoulder strap, but this is way better than lugging around the truss in separate pieces. I zipped up my truss in the bag, and it now has a happy home. Recommend this bag to anyone!

I was in a pinch to find a perfect bag suitable for check in at the airport for hauling all my light stands and accessories for a shoot out of town. This review is geared towards photographers and videographers for using this bag as a light stand bag. Really glad I found this gem! The bag is perfect for storing at least 5-6 stands including century stands. There are plenty plenty of space to fit anything you want inside! It measures at about 61" in length, and this is important -- and perfect by design: because most airlines will charge oversize fees if your bag is over 62" The handle is also well designed and easy to pick up. The entire bag is well padded, the zipper is heavy duty, so I'm confident that all my stands would arrive in one piece during flight. I would suggest using tie-down straps to ensure that the bag doesn't get opened during transportation. If you have a lot of equipments to carry and you want them all to fit in one bag, this is the bag for you! For air travel also, if your bag's weight is over 50lb, you'll be charged overweight fee of almost $200, so the smart thing to move/split anything over 50lb to a separate bag to check in. I would buy another smaller on stage carry bag for local shoots.

i receive it today it was big i never gotten a bag for a truss since this is my first time buyin a truss but it was perfect it felt really cushion the zipper was big and heavy as in great for keep this bag closed, the handles feel good im just waitin on my truss system to be deliver so i can try it on. so far its lookin great. i would recomend this bag to whoever got a truss system i had light T-stands before and also speaker stands and it would be easier to have a bag to keep all the stands and poles together and carry it at once and not waste time goin back and forward and i usually do my mobile dj gigs by myself so it saves me alot of time not havin to carry 2 by 2 sometimes. if im able to change my review once i get my truss i will and ill upload a video to show the bag and how the truss fits inside.

The bag actually held the complete system as promised. The material is hardy enough but the stitching and strapping that the handles were made of leave something to be desired. The first time we used it the stitching broke loose and now we have to handle the bag by wrapping our arms around it and bear hugging it back to the trailer. At $45 the bag is hardly cheap-I would have liked to see the handles made of and stitched in a hardier manner. Since the truss system is meant to withstand the general rigors of repeated assembly and teardown for transportation between stage events, the storage/transportation bag becomes a very important element of the investment. Final analysis....while the padding and shell material were up to the task of repeated handling the handles are most definitely not going to last.

This is the second one I have bought. I use them for my ADJ LTS-2, 12 foot Lighting Stands. They hold two stands in each case. It makes lugging the stands around a lot easier! You can't go wrong with this top quality product.

At first I was a little confused on how to put my middle truss in the bag for it to correctly but I found a way....this bag could'of been made little longer for extra space but it fits all of my truss system completly (middle truss detached, 2 stands, poles). Its VERY nice for the price!!! Thanks

I'm using the On Stage LB6500 Lighting Truss Carry Bag to carry C-stands that have a 55-inch centre column. This is the only bag I could find in this large size. The bag will also hold eight 54-inch rolls of background paper. The bag is made better than I expected especially at this price. I wish the company made this same bag with a shorter length, (they do make a smaller version but it's much too shallow to be of any use,). Contrary to the description, there's no padded shoulder strap.

These bags are made for “on the road”. Build tough.
