Works well
This is a very strong formula of Salicylic Acid, it's 20% that being said you should take precaution when using it. Many formulas are much lower doses around 5% and easier for those with sensitive skin to handle. I've only used it a few times. I have sensitive skin so I was careful using it. What I have found it that when I do my regular routine of washing my face and applying my products and I apply this last, I have no issues. Last night I washed my face and was lazy so I did not apply anything other than this and I had a burning sensation on my skin. When looking it didn't seem to visually irritated it but it definitely needs a barrier. I also apply a spf on top of it before leaving the house to protect my skin. I've only used this a few times and I already see results. This is a great product, I'd just say use with caution, and maybe not daily.

Is it Really 20%?
I'll begin by saying there's a lot to love about this product. The serum has a nourishing, quick-absorbing feel that I like even more than my typical salicylic acid serum (which is a bit sticky). It really does feel like a pampering "serum" rather than a "treatment." And it delivers results - I began to see a reduction in visible pores after two uses spaced several days apart. HOWEVER - While it is definitely stronger than my 2% serum, I have a hard time believing it's really 20% salicylic acid. That's extremely strong - like professional chemical peel strong. I do have some tolerance for salicylic acid since I use it regularly. But I also have very sensitive skin. I didn't experience any of the side effects of other chemical exfoliants. I'm not complaining that I haven't had redness or dryness, but honestly, I should have at 20%. I can't imagine why the company would recommend daily use of a 20% salicylic acid product. I'm not sure it's as strong as the manufacturer claims. Maybe I'm wrong and this is some kind of a miracle product. All that said, it's working for me. I'll continue to use it with an abundance of caution - a couple times a month, and as a spot treatment here and there.

Something just doesn't make sense...
So, Im very torn about this product. Ive had to really think about how to rate this because im not entirely convinced its actually 20% salicylic acid but I cant prove it and dont want to give it a lownrating if it actually is. But also dont want to give 5 stars if its not. But in the end, something is off. 20% salicylic is basically the strength of a chemical peel. Most serums are about 5% at most and safe for daily use. A 20% peel would usually be used maybe 1x a week at most, but probably even less frequently than that. Sonits labeled 20% and only has 2 ingredients: salicylic and propalene glycol. But the directions say to use it 1-3x a day! I wouldn't even use a 5% more than 2x a day but a 20%? That doesnt seem right. So either the percentage is off or the directions are off because i cant imagine anyone using 20% up to 3x a day. Also, it doesnt really sting the way I'd expect a 20% to. I use a lot of great skincare products so im activated to the general use of these items, but I think 20% would definitely sting a bit. Overall, I just dont know what to think. But if its a 20% as listed, they need to fix those directions. Or accurately label the %. One of those seems like it's not correct.

Clear skin ahead!
This serum was a must-try as I have problem skin a struggle with acne. I am always on the look for high-quality serums that can help me combat the breakouts and keep my skin clear. My sensitive skin tends to get dry and flaky easily, so I've tended to use this only a few times a week, but so far I'm impressed with the quality of this product.

Great, with caveat - 20% Salicylic Acid Serum Solution 2 fl oz. Two Ingredient Formula
This 20% Salicylic Acid Serum Solution 2 fl oz. Two Ingredient Formula is a generous size and very nicely packaged in a glass bottle. However, like other reviewers, I question if it’s truly 20% professional-grade salicylic acid as advertised. It seems stronger than the 2% salicylic acid serum solution I’ve previously used, but hasn’t yet dried my skin like professional salicylic acid peels tend to. (Which is a positive for me, but makes me suspect it isn’t as strong as claimed.)Regardless, my intended use was always only as a strong acne spot treatment and it’s so far great for that. With the 2 fl oz. size, this bottle will last me a very long time.

Simple Ingredients, Strong Exfoliation Acid, Good To Mix With The Cream Of Your Choice
This 20% Salicylic Acid Serum Solution is concentrated formula good for targeted exfoliation or to create your own exfoliating cream or lotion. With only two ingredients, it keeps things simple. The serum has a watery consistency that applies easily and absorbs quickly. I like to mix this in with some face cream so I'm getting a 3% to 5% concentration for gentle exfoliation on my face. I mix this acid at a bit higher concentration with some lotion that I apply to my feet 2 or 3 times a week to help my cracked heels. I personally wouldn't use this at a full 20% strength as I don't want to do any damage. I notice this acid, mixed in the appropriate substrate, helps with stubborn rough skin buildup and rough patches, leaving skin smoother and softer. Recommended!

20% Salicylic Acid with Propylene Glycol
salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid, made from willow bark. it can be used in skin care as a gentle chemical exfoliator.the '20% Salicylic Acid Serum Solution 2 fl oz. Two Ingredient Formula' is a strong, 20% formulation of Salicylic Acid and Propylene Glycol.i like that this acid is free from parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances.as someone with sensitive and reactive skin, when introducing a new product to my skin regiment, i do a 24-hour patch test to make sure this product is suitable for my skin. still, it is important to start slow, with just 1 drop once a week. i might slowly increase the dosage as my skin adjusts to it.
