Bought 2 sets.
I think they look awesome. But the first set were installed about a month and the driver side halo went out. So I thought it was probably a fluke and bout bought a 2nd set. I replaced the driver headlight and within a month the driver halo went out again. This isn't even my daily driver. The lights had barley been used within that month. I think they look awesome but taking the front clip off to replace the assembly is a pain. I recommend buying a different brand.

Amazing product, amazing quality.
These headlight assemblies are fantastic for the price. Compared with a set of OEM headlight assemblies there is no noticeable difference in quality, while aesthetically the AKKON headlight assembly looks light years better than the OEM design even when they were new. As sun crazed as they are no there is no comparison. Some reviewers stated that these aren’t wired the same as the factory assembliesor are a different design than the factory and won’t work. This is patently false, they work perfectly and plug right in to the wiring harness. The only part of these they are NOT plug and play are the LED halo daytime running lights (DRLs). As the car didn’t probably have DRLs originally, of course they don’t plug in to a harness with no allowance for them. But they are easily spliced in at an expense of less than $10 at Autozone. The only detail not mentioned in the Amazon item listing is that the AKKON headlight assembly does not use all of the same bulbs as the factory assembly. If you intend to upgrade to LED bulbs at the same time you install the assembly you will need to know which bulbs the AKKON assembly requires. The AKKON assembly uses the same H7 low beam bulb as the stock headlight assembly uses, but it does not use a second H7 bulb for the high beam as Amazon states the factory assembly uses. The AKKON headlight assembly uses an H-1 for the high beam. And finally the turn signal /side marker bulb in the AKKON headlight assembly does not use the 194 bulb that the factory assembly uses. The AKKON headlight assembly uses the P21W amber light for the side marker/front turn signal as the stock assembly does. The bulbs required are:Low beam: H7High Beam: H1Turn signal / side marker: P21w Amber.

These don't work and are not equal replacement for OEM lights.
I bought these as a replacement for my headlamps after a wreck destroyed the passenger one. The first bump in the road was that they did not come with low beam bulbs. The second bump in the road came when the driver's side lowbeam stopped working, and a bulb replacement and fuse replacement didn't fix it. The third bump in the road came when the passenger low beam EXPLODED in the assembly. The fourth and final bump came when I realized the entire layout of the assembly is different from OEM - I don't know too much about this stuff but I have discovered that the OEM low beam and hi beam are the same bulb with an extra filament that kicks in when the hi beams are activated. These, however, have a single halogen bulb. It's completely different and doesn't make any sense. I guess maybe I bought the wrong kind? But if so, I'm pissed that there was no way to know that. They've caused me nothing but problems since I got them. I'd love to return them, but I expect that the broken glass from the bulb that exploded makes that impossible. Who knows.

All in all, pretty impressed!
Honestly for $185 i wasn't expecting much, but my RH headlight was damaged, so i figured I'd give these a try. They're nice!Cons;1. Did not include low-beam bulbs.2. No instructions. This was only an issue figuring out wiring the halos. No big deal. There are 3 sets of pos/neg wires coming out the back(not going to the main connector). Two sets have a pink pos(+) wire, these are the halos. There's also a set with an orange pos wire. I still have no idea what those are for. I powered em up prior to installing, nothing. So i just tied em, taped em, and tucked them outta the way. I spliced the pinks/blacks into the white/black wires for the eyebrow lights. When my running lights are on, the halos are lit. Later i might wire them off a relay from the alt, so they're on whenever the engine is on.Pros;1. Mounting points match perfectly to original.2. The main connector is on a pigtail instead of being part of the housing. This is nice because it gives you room to work, and means however you choose to wire the halos, you don't have to splice into your factory harness. Big plus there.3. The halos, while not as bright as factory option angel eyes, are bright enough to be visible even in Texas sunlight. Much better than many others I've seen.4. The projectors are fantastic. Mine were perfectly adjusted right outta the box. The improvement in peripheral lighting is amazing, and the cutoff line at the top of the beam is a crisp, perfectly straight line. I just swapped in my old bulbs for now, can't wait to see how they look with some super-white bulbs.Overall I'm much happier with these lights than i expected to be. Better visibilty at night, and really sharpens the look of my E90 328i.

BMW Headlight upgrade
To be fair, a 3 star for installation has nothing whatsoever to do with this product, it’s strictly a BMW design. Installation is not difficult but it’s tedious, requiring removal of the bumper cover.I am thrilled with this set! The cost for the pair was less than it would have cost me for a used single one at a junkyard. Pull yourself yards rarely have these cars and I needed it immediately for registration.Comparable quality with original BMW part.Perfect fit and they were properly aimed.Haven’t decided how I want the halos to work yet, but it’s an easy one wire splice.Comes with turn signal bulbs and standard halogen H1 bulbs for brights. Standard H7 for driving not included. Only wish included bulbs were LED.
