Couldn't ask for better.
We have roughly a 900 square ft deck including stairs in the sq footage. We ordered one 2.5 gallon and three 1 gallon of the Natural Semi Transparent wood stain and sealer Step #3. Our deck is 3.5 years old and was built with treated lumber. Some areas ofbthe deck receive far more sun than the others. We live in Kentucky where we have humid summers, lots of rain year around and harsh winters with snow, so our deck has endured all types of weather. This spring we realized how faded the boards were and how water did not beed up after rain anymore. We had initially thought we would maybe use just 3 gallon or so of thus stain/sealer; however, we did the first section which included 15 stairs and the risers and steps as well as about 200 feet of deck and some of the handrails. We went through 2.5 gallons quick...we did not realize how dried out the wood was. The product was rolled on without any issues. We used 2 coats in most areas. Clean up was easy, we did not find that the product was drippy or messy. We highly recommend this product. The first picture is area of deck not done vs completed section. We will post more of the deck completed.

Words cannot express. Love this company! Always quality.
Forever grateful. Perfect color match for old cedar chest with water stain (my jaw dropped) + revitalizing an old wood ladder! This is definitely thinner than their Solid Color Stains, but also more charming once dry! Much easier to spill/sprinkle as it does go on like water; friendly warning. 👍✨

GREAT color GREAT value GREAT transformation!
This translucent stain produced the most amazing transformation of our old dilapidated looking deck! We had used a Deck-Over type product to try to cover the ugly boards, which peeled, trapped moisture and worsened an already grungy looking deck. Last summer, in a last ditch effort, I sanded the entire deck down to the 30 year old bare boards, used a deck cleaner, and painted the railing black with house paint.THEN I applied this stain in Translucent Natural, exactly as instructed on the jug.It is a thin, watery consistency, but applies beautifully ( i used a stain brush on a pole). It absorbed and dried quickly, and one and a half jugs covered a 15 x 12 deck with 2 coats.I left the furniture and deck rug off for 4 days, then put everything back- and the results were astounding to me! Great coverage, no tackiness, beautiful color, nice transparency, water beaded after rain, and now that the snow has finally melted from the deck, I can say with 100% honesty and amazement- 6 months and one winter later/the stain STILL looks GREAT! No chipping, no peeling, beautiful! I am repurchasing to put another “maintenance” coat on later this spring, because I am so impressed with this product- and believe this will extend the life and appearance of my old deck! Great value! GREAT product! ABSOLUTELY recommend!!I will include before and after shots of our old eyesore deck that became everyone’s favorite hangout spot last summer, thanks to this product!

Great coverage and durability
I love this stuff! It is easy to apply. You don’t have to wait for your deck to fully dry before applying. It covers well and lasts all year. We have had some really harsh weather and it held up well. Just make sure to clean your deck well before applying. It’s well worth the price!

So far, so good!
Literally, so far, so good! I applied nearly 2 gallons of the Light Walnut color stain to my floors and steps about a month and a half ago (didn't do the posts or railings as I wanted to see if I'd like the color before going hog-wild with the rest of my decking!) I really liked the ease of use! I know I DO NOT have hours to wait to apply second coats of stain just to make things look good and uniform so, the 20-30 min. instruction between coats worked wonders! Because my decking faces south/southwest during the high point of the day, I applied this between 8:30 and 10:30 in the mornings, and/or between 7:00 and 9:00 in the evenings. Altogether, it took me 3 days to do nearly 400 sq. feet of deck flooring. As of now, my wood looks very nice. Today, I'm giving this product 4 stars as I'll have to wait another 9-plus months to really determine its' true worth after 4 months of a cold, possibly snowy, winter and a rainy spring. Supposedly by then, I'm to just be able to clean it, then put a "supporting" coat down...we'll see! But for right now, I do like it.UPDATE (4/18/2020):I've used this product twice (2x) now; the first time in 2018 and the 2nd in June, 2019 - and as of today, I have to knock off a star. Today, I noticed that the stain is chipping and peeling in quite a few places and I don't think it did that great of a job of sealing the wood. Unfortunately, some of my floorboards are now splitting and cracking, which means that now I have to do quite a bit of repair work before cleaning and staining. The coloring is great - I'll give it 5 stars for the color but, 2 stars for the overall quality. I could see if the color faded some and the wood was just dull-looking after 10 months but, I didn't expect this. Especially since this past winter, it's been mild here in PA (I only had one "mini" ice storm and 2 inches of snow for the whole season so, I would have thought that this stain/sealant should have held up better). Time to look for another stain/sealer...
