Gets the job done, can also be used in, creative ways.
I originally bought this for a laptop I used for work, and it has been working without issues for almost 2 years. It keeps temperatures cool for when you work with this on your lap as it has multiple orifices to keep the air flowing, the underside of the laptop won't overheat at all unlike when you use anything else on the house and keeps it firm the rubber pads also hold the laptop in place as long as it is not oversized (and if also your laptop has its own rubber holders to overlap with the ones on the tray), I don't have a thermometer to measure exactly how cold it keeps the underside but it gets the job done.Since I have another cooler for my work laptop I use this one to keep a mini pc setup cooled as it harbors an eGPU nowadays, it keeps all accessories cooled off and takes out the risks of overheat properly, as I have a power supply for a monitor, external SSD, thunderbolt connector for eGPU and a USB-C port hub, so far I am satisfied with the results. Its easy to open up to clean the dust and put back everything in place, the rubber feet keep the cooling tray firmly in place and the deployable legs adjust the height perfectly to fit this on my desk, can confidently recommend this product for laptops (and weird eGPU builds like mine, if you are into that, wired mess of course).

love it.
i adore this laptop cooler , it,s better then my last cooler with only 2 fans, i hope this cooler will last as long as my other one, i love the soft red glowing light on the 3 fans, plus it's quiet does not make loud noise like my old fan which sounded like a roaring helicopter hahaha i would recommend this , it keeps my laptop computer cool, i love it, now i can relax and not worry about my compture overheating like my old one, i just hope it lasts as long as my older one , but as they say compared to old times nothing last long, , but i hope this one lasts long , cause it's really doing a great job, the soft red glow on the bottom, the red glow is relaxing me for i have my laptop sitting on top 2 milk crates on the floor , i have no room for a compture desk, , i am happy with this, it's fans are quiet and the lights are soft glow i can see through the bottom of my crates, so relaxing i just might fall asleep on the floor haha. glad i found this, my compture is much cooler, thank you seller, and thank you amazon for selling this baby, it works well.

A well performing, no nonsense cooling pad
I've had this cooling pad for around 6 months now. Here are my thoughts,The cooling pad itself seems to be of decent quality. The box includes two rubber pads that you have to stick onto the pad surface to help prevent your laptop from sliding. Unfortunately, the perforated aluminum face causes these pads to slide out of position over time. A better design would have the pads pre-installed.I opted for the blue color. I like the look, but there's no option to change colors or even turn off the light, which may become distracting while using at night. The fans seem to be of good quality. They spin fast enough to effectively cool my laptop while gaming, but slow enough to be pretty quiet. It would've been nice if this pad had the ability to adjust the fan speed, but for what it's worth, I think it's been set just right for my use case.On the back of the pad, there is one USB to power the cooling pad and another USB for passthrough. I haven't yet tried this for data transfer, but I can imagine it's not ideal. The included cable is, at least in my case, way too long, since my laptop has a port directly above where the cooling pad connector sits. For some people, this may be helpful, but you may want to consider getting a short cable. The pad is easy to use, lightweight and fairly comfortable in my lap during long sessions. The pad also includes two risers at the bottom for adjustment, which may come in handy for some.Overall, when you consider the excellent cooling capability, the lightweight construction, and then the price, it's honestly a good value. It's missing some features that you may find on more premium cooling pads, but it still has everything you need to keep your laptop from turning into an oven and that's good enough for me.

Could be a little bit quieter
I am a recording engineer who mixes "in the box" (i.e. using my laptop) so sometimes I wish the fans were a little bit quieter. However, it's simple enough to turn the fans off when I am doing some critical listening. It would be nice to have variable speed fans. When the fans are tuned on, I measure 37 dBA at about 0.5 m. When the fans are turned off the noise level is less than 30 dBA, so these fans are the noisiest thing in my studio, but they certainly are not loud. The top is metal, and the bottom is plastic. Seems to be fairly well made. It's not very comfortable to rest this directly on my lap, but I never intended to do that anyway. I rest this on a 1/4" board which rests on my lap. This also keeps my lap cooler. It's just the right size to fit my 17" laptop. Works fine with my 15" laptop too.At 5 volts, the fans draw 0.64 amps. I run it off of a separate USB power supply to not use up a port on my computer. I tried to use a USB PWM (Pulse Width Modulator) to control the fan speed, but it did not work. With the PWM inline, the fans would not turn on at all.I like it and I would buy one again.
