Celestron Upclose G2 20X50 Porro Binocular

I really amazed what I have in my hand it's fantastic long view binocular you can see 3 kilometres away I recommend to everyone

First of all I thank Amazon's return policy by virtue of which the defective piece was promptly replaced within one day. However I would not appreciate the manufacturer for clearing defective products without quality and performance test. The binocular which I received was not caliberated properly and therefore was having problem of Double Image. Since I have already used other binoculars, I came to know the defect immediately. A first time user may not understand this issue and would not return the product. However the replacement piece is upto the mark and deserves 5 stars. It's worth the money. It's really light wieght and easy to focus. So buyers please check your product immediately for this manufacturing defect.

I got it for Rs.4199/-. For a good built quality, magnification clarity, ergonomic design and decent weight. I think it's a jackpot. Quality of the carry bag that comes with it is ordinary. However, it is not suitable for sky/star grazing. It's good for terrestrial viewings.

Pathetic product. Tried to return since I bought and got no response. Prism is not aligned. Tried multiple times to align but still not focusing. Getting double images. Amazon said it will be returned, but no1 collected and still holding the product with out any use.

The product I received was in ok condition. The plastic cover of the right eyepiece was broken and the condition of the box was pretty bad. It seemed that the item was returned several times. However, the reason I returned it was it is little heavy and more importantly NOT a variable zoom binocular, which I felt very annoying. If you are not using for astronomical purpose, I strongly advise you to buy a roof-prism (not porro-prism) binocular, as they are lighter and compact. Additionally, I feel the variable-zoom feature is a must for every standard binocular.

Great product. Worth a buy in this price range with excellent 20x zoom. Can see moon in a very detailed manner. Fortunately could see Jupiter and Saturn when they were very close to earth. Suggestion is to buy a good tripod stand along with binoculars to view a stable image otherwise its going to be bit difficult for exploring since it has a zoom of 20x. Please go ahead worth a buy for beginning space exploration.

It is a good Product for Beginners. Can watch objects up to 7-8 KM (air distance ). At this price the product is good. For better viewing or distance viewing, stability is required, for which I will suggest one should go for model with Stand, as when distance increases, efforts are required to stabilize the viewing. I liked it for the purpose of bird watching, for which it was bought.

Tho bit confusing at first when I get the hang of it, it feels nice and the material it is made in adds good feeling, the view is what I expected, not sharp but sharp enough, the carrier and stuff coming in with it (microfibre cloth and strap) was good. Not a 5 star because the view is not perfect, the magnification I trust being 20 and aperture 50, I use it a few times, doesn’t disappoint
