Returned.... but may end up ordering again and keeping it this time
If your preferred translation is the NIV, everything about this Bible is 5 out of 5 stars- except for in one area.Font size - perfect.Paper thickness - considering the size and the cost, not bad at allGeneral build quality (materials used) - greatBinding - will last decadesLayout: clean and undistractingAdditional helps - clear, uncluttered cross referencesOverall value for money 8.5/10My only gripe was that there was more show through than I would have liked on some of the pages. For a Bible with 2200 pages and a huge font, it is understandable that a thinner paper will be used - but its just that I have gotten used to better print quality because of Crossway's attention to detail in their Bibles. That, and the fact that the NIV is not my preferred translation made me return this book (although I immediately regretted the return).I "may" in fact end up ordering this one back again just because it is an overall well-made Bible. Or I may not, as I recently ordered an NIV reader's Bible that hopefully will have much less showthough issue. But in any case, overall this is a good product and I would recommend it especially for the price. There is a smaller size of this available, in case you are interested.

The paper is too thin.
The product looks good and the print is of a good size but the paper is very thin so the print "leaks" from one page to the other. This is very confusing for a person with a visual acuity issue and is counter productive. Therefore I had to return what I had hoped to be the answer to my problem.

Nice print and layout but poor quality paper
Nice print and layout but poor quality paper. The paper is so thin and the ghosting so bad that it is very difficult to read. Unfortunately this is a common problem today. Why can't we have Bibles printed on decent paper anymore?
