Worth the price if you have a specific application for it!
I searched for a long time and finally ended up pulling the trigger on this bulb.Difficult to find LED bulbs that are rated for enclosed fixtures, and this is the only one I could find that puts out more than 75 W equivalent.Needed it for a dark garage with a relatively small enclosed fixture and it pumps out a ton of light (daylight color, which is what I wanted). Worth the price in my situation.

DO NOT buy
$50 dollar light bulb malfunctions . It goes off and on at will, sometimes will not turn on at all. No dimmer is installed, straight switch on light. Does make a nice light when it works. Remodeling did not get it put in before returns ran out.

Expensive bulbs that don't last
These bulbs do not live up to their warranty (3 years). I've bought several of these, and every one of them so far has experienced the same issues described by others here. After around 6 to 9 months in an enclosed fixture, the bulb starts to blink and flicker on and off. It sometimes settles down and turns steady, but the problem gets worse over the next few months and then bulb basically doesn't work any more. This is nowhere near the 3-year longevity implied by the warranty.During the first few months while the bulb is working, it's great. The light is nice and bright and the color temperature is as advertised. It's very difficult to find bulbs of more than 100W equivalent that are not soft or warm white and work in an enclosed fixture for any length of time. The only way I could recommend these bulbs is to someone who doesn't mind paying $55 for a new bulb every 9 months or so just so they can have the combination of brightness and color desired in an LED bulb. I am not that kind of person and I don't recommend these bulbs.I have found another brand (SANSI) that I am trying next to see if they fare any better.

They do not know there own product
I bought this bulb for an outside enclosed light. When I tried to ascertain as to what temperature levels it could function at the responses were far less than reassuring. I received responses from the factory in China and the USA contact. These entities gave diametrically opposed answers. The China source said it could be used in Chicago as long as it was enclosed in a moisture resistant enclosure, the USA people told me send it back, it will not work. I have put the bulb in as an experiment. We shall see which source is correct.

Had the lamp 1 year. Does not work anymore. They said it would last 50,000HRs. Sent a email to XLEDIA. Will see what they say about a replacement. They sent me a new bulb, on 3/5/2015. Very happy with them and the new bulb.

Great bright LED
Most LED lights are not bright enough for reading but the Xledia 125 series provide plenty of light (2000 lumens). The 125 series is available as either an omnidirectional bulb or a unidirectional bulb. These LED are much brighter than any others currently on the market and their output per watt is exceptional - the 125X produces 2000 lumens at 16.3 watts giving 123 lumens per watt. This efficiency far surpasses other LED bulbs. Highly recommended.

Bought 4 bulbs. After a 9 months, one of the bulbs flickers when turned on then settles into a steady state with brightness way below its normal state. Before you buy, check the warranty site listed in the product description, xledia.com. As another reviewer has commented, warranty replacement or repair may be difficult and time consuming. The failure of one our of four these $50 bulbs after 9 months makes me doubtful about the reliability of the product. The warranty process makes the purchase a losing transaction.

Spec say 2000 lumen, but doesn't match brightness of a UTILTECH 23W FSL speced at 1600 lumens
I bought this bulb for the outside of my garage. The bulb is good, is immediately on and doesn't get hot, but I bought it to increase the brightness. The Spec say 2000 lumen, but doesn't match brightness of a UTILTECH 23W FSL spec'ed at 1600 lumens. It is very disappointing that the 2000 lumen of this LED light don't exceed the brightness of a UTILTECH 23W FSL speced at 1600 lumens.
