I really like these boots but I did have to size up. I wear a 6.5 but got a 7.5 so I could wear thicker socks but even w/ thin socks, my toes were right up against the front so I sized up to an 8. The insoles are comfortable but only have minimal arch support. The tread is really good though - I got great footing during the hike. They kept my feet decently warm but I will wear wool socks if I need to ensure my feet are warm enough. I did not check out the waterproof-ness but as long as the water contact is minimal and brief, I think they'll do well. I got the gray ones and really like the color.

My wife like to wear to work in the garden or yard. There are not heavy and have a good track on hillsides. Also imported there are waterproofed. Also the perfect fit and easy to use, durable and wearable.

I am a city carrier with USPS. These shoes are sturdy, comfortable and provide excellent grip when i’m going up and down hills, as well as walking all day.

I love the boot’s aesthetic, however Amazon recommends going a size down, so I ordered a 7 instead of a 7.5. The 7 was too small — my toes pressed too close to the tip. I should have just ordered a 7.5 to begin with.
