Works perfectly for me.
I think it's clear that this is a product that is exactly what you're looking for, but might arrive defective. It's cheap, it's not original electronic manufacturer (oem), and it doesn't have the volume button the original cable has. But let's be honest, the original cable isn't very good either. It's cheap, poorly insulated and likely to fray/break and mine was after years of use.Time will tell how long this will last, but I have full confidence in returning it if I have those issues. As of now, it works well. And although it doesn't fit entirely flush with the headphones, it's not easily noticeable. It's cheap enough ($8 for me) that this is worth trying out if you're on the fence. I know I was after reading some reviews.

Keeping an Old Thing Going
The QC 15 have a special place in my heart. They were one of my first large purchases made that was almost 15 years ago now. Since then, I've had to replace the earcup and the wire several times. I actually bought this exact same wire four years ago. So if I were you, it would be that lifetime this cord is probably two or three years, however, for price and for the fact that it keeps near and dear headphones working, I give it five stars

Does the job. Good replacements
Very lightweight , much cheaper feeling than the original Bose but it does the job.

Replacement cord without heart attack pricing
My original BOSE Quiet Comfort headphones clearly required a replacement cable. Being a specialty cable, and not just a basic 1/8" to 1/8" audio cable, I was braced for the worst. How much was a replacement going to cost me? I assumed I'd have to shell out between $25-50 and like it.I was so relieved when I saw that I didn't have to take out a mortgage to get a replacement cable. I did have doubts, seeing that this was not an OEM cable, but I ordered it anyway. My doubts were unfounded. The cable fits and the audio sounds great through it. Just like new. Well worth it; gone are the crackles and dropping audio. Highly recommended if needed.

Sound quality is subpar compared to original
Product looks fine. Similar to the OEM. However, when connecting and doing a side to side comparison, sound quality degrades significantly, and sounds dull, short on tones, like cut off.Try something else…

Total Garbage. Broke After a Few Months. Avoid!
Everything worked at first. Great audio quality. Perfect replacement. However, after a few months, I lost sound in the right ear. If I wiggle the cord at the end that plugs into the headphones, the sound crackles in and out of the right ear. I do not abuse these headphones. I use them lightly inside my home. The original cord lasted 9 years. This replacement failed after just a few months. Total waste of money. Avoid!

Great quality and price
Bose no longer sells this product, and when they did it was about $30. I suspect this is surplus Bose OEM rather than aftermarket. Worked great for me. Indistinguishable from original.
