This product does not indicate that it is food-safe however may be suitable if not in contact with any food. Excellent in high-temp applications and can often be used as a glue also, on clean surfaces. Hope this helps.

Q: Can I use it for making gasket for oil pan?

You can use for gasket making but it's not the best. Use the black rtv

Q: How long does it take to dry?

I left it overnight and it was dry in the morning. Worked great. If I still had it I’d read the label and tell you what it says the drying time is, but I no longer have the tube.
