I would take that up with the seller, the kit includes all the accessories shown in the picture, you can buy the shield on it's own for under $2.00.

Is it possible to just buy the shield by itself?

I don't think so, kind of a pain really, but it's actually less expensive for the manufacturer to sell accessories like this as a complete assembly. One less inventory item you know. In addition there will be very few folk who just want the shield alone.

Can this shield be used on the Dremel flex attachment?

I do not have the flex attachment to answer this, but if the flex attachment has the same theads at the tool end like the Dremel, I would say yes. The shield attaches to the Dremel in the same way the flex tool does.

Dose it fit in Dremel 3000?
