They work
Excellent product with one major flaw. When you purchase it also buy a good set of ear buds to go with it.The ones that come with it are absolute garbage the sound quality is so bad you will think you wasted your money but the minute I plugged in the earbuds from my music player all speech was crystal clear. Great device and easier to deal with than hearing aids while watching TV and conversations.

More JUNK!!
I HAD HOPED this would be the answer for my husbands hearing problem. A traditional hearing aid does not help because he has damage to the eardrum. So I thought maybe this would work. Nope, I tried the thing myself. Problem is when you use it, contrary to commercials saying it blocks out other surrounding noise, it does just the opposite: it magnifies the sounds other than peoples speech. So when You try to use it, if someone crinkles a piece of paper, for instance, or any small sound like that-- it magnifies that sound as well as someones voice, in short it's AWFUL. Save your dough!!!!!

This product only worked for three months.I have never bought anything that stopped working soo soon.Is it defective?

Great for someone hard of hearing
Great and sturdy for the money. Easy to use for someone in nursing facility.

Just kidding, It does work for listening to conversations across the room. I mainly bought it for my elderly Mother who is having some hearing issues with the TV and casual conversation. She says it works well for her and was cheaper than hearing aids she can't afford right now. I tried it and notice it does pick up every sound so a car driving by or a bird can be very loud.

Waste of money
Sounds like a cheap am radio. Even on 15 the loud setting you barely hear tv. I can hear the TV on low but with ear buds in and all the way up I have a hard time hearing TV. If you touch the wires or device those sounds you hear. I even held device closer to the TV and still better to just not use this thing. Pass this by and buy something else rather then a made in ??? for $1 junk.

Very helpful.
Bought for my Husband to use until his hearing aids are repaired. He really likes it and may still use it after he gets his hearing aids back. Great product!
