womens Route Field Jacket

Love this jacket. Unfortunately, I’m 95% planning to return it. Problem is, we’re in mid-July, and I wanted a light weight jacket to see me through cool offices and evenings through the rest of summer, and perhaps into early Fall.Sadly for my current needs, this a heavy weight, lined canvas jacket. I live between San Francisco and San Jose, CA, and this jacket would likely see me through most of the winter here! I WISH the weight/seasonal nature of this jacket had been noted in the description, so I’m highlighting it here.Here are my other impressions. The fit is a bit loose, but the write-up did mention oversized. On the other hand, the Hudson Jeans size chart shows what are to me, teensy #s for jackets and tops — I didn’t check out other measurements, so I did my best with conflicting info. If I weren’t on a “slow drip” weight loss trend that’s been happening for a long time, I might keep this for the upcoming season.My resolution re sizes was to go a size up from my current size of ‘S’ to ‘M.’ This might be fine if I knew I’d still be this size in the winter — it allows room for a sweater. If I had more expendable income, there’s a good chance I would keep this, perhaps after checking out size Small.
