Same mirror as Polaris sells
If your looking for the (factory Polaris mirror) this is the same one but they give you brackets so it will fit in more locations. To mount on the factory tab. You will need to either buy a new bolt and nut that is slightly longer, or drill the brackets on both mirror and side by side.

Installed nicely. Operator error and RTFM saved the day
How hard is it to install a mirror.... Well it much harder when the instructions were not read.It is a straight forward install especially if you have the roof with the plate for the mirror to mount to. They have self locking nuts just for this purpose. I will say that whoever wrenched down the screws to the baseplate needs to lay off the iron. HOLY COW at one point I thought I was going to snap the heads off.The install was supereasy once I actually read the manual. It has a wide angle of view and you can see everything behind you. Good Value for money.

small screws not usable
As other reviewers have stated the screws in the "temporary " plate were so tight they could not be removed. I ended up drilling out the screws, then drilled the Polaris factory mounting bracket to accept the shorter of the screws that came with the mirror. Including time wasted trying to find screws that would work without drilling the factory bracket and all the drilling, it took me two hours to do a job that should have taken five minutes. What is the purpose of attaching the screws to a plate that is only going to be discarded? Why so tight? Once I got the mirror mounted I will say it looks good and works very well.

What’s behind me?
Used on Polaris Ranger 900xp. Works wonderfully with good view of rear of Ranger. Adjusts easily and installs easily to lock and ride roof.

Easy to install, but cracked after 7 days
Bought this for my husband for Valentine's Day. He absolutely loved it, installed it the same day. Well, 2 days ago, he went to pull the ranger out of the shop, and noticed it had cracked right down the middle. We aren't sure why, the Ranger sleeps in our shop. Maybe temperature fluctuations? We were going to return it because maybe it was a faulty mirror, but my husband threw away the box. He's very disappointed.

bounces
Easy for my husband to install and gives a clear view, but it bounces around when we are just on the smooth road. Unlike a care rear view mirror. It needs something to stabilize it similar to a car mirror.

Cheap hex heads + Thread adhesive = stripped screws and a worthless hunk of junk
Instructions said to remove an unneeded metal tab in order to mount to my Polaris Ranger EV. The hex head screws that had to be removed were cemented in with a thread lock compound and the cheap metal immediately stripped. I ended up using double sided tape and and to drill two new holes to mount it. Since the additional bracket is cemented on, The mirror hangs about an inch too low making it cumbersome and less effective. Go with the OEM and save yourself some time and frustration.

Easy to install and good visibility while driving
Easy to install and good visibility while driving. One bad thing - it sounds like there are some plastic BB's loose inside the mirror body. It sounds like a baby rattle when driving around. May have to drill a hole in it to get them out.
