These have been great little rods for the kids. They're durable, easy to use and help reduce some tangles. Short little rods are difficult to get good hook sets with but that's just part of the deal with kids rods. My son had a 18" bass on that bent the poor little rod over the edge of the boat. The rod survived and the fish was landed! This would be my go to for a kids first rod.

Got this for our five year old granddaughter, and took her fishing last week. She caught 11 small fish and was so excited. We still have two cast it out for her, but it is a great size and the line does not tangle.

I know right? It’s not a cat toy, it is a fishing pole, for a small kid, but it makes a great cat toy too. Especially because it came with a toy fish that is perfect for learning how to tie on hooks and lures and practicing your casting. I love it. And the cat loves it. Sure you could use one of those cats toy that is like a little stick with something dangling from it but with this little fishing rod you can relax and just practice your casting from the comfort of the couch while you watch Netflix (or should I say Prime). I mean, it’s ultimate entertainment.I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for lightweight because I was a bit surprised by the heft of it but I am 63 and starting to feel some arthritis in my hands. Value for money hands down is an easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I love catfishing and so does my cat. And I gave it just ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for durability because I’m sure if I sit on it I will break it. It is small enough to sit on so keep it put away on something you don’t sit on when not in use and you should be good.

This was a fun Christmas gift for my 3 year old who constantly wants to fish with his dad who is a fly fisherman. He has a fly rod for when they go out, but he just loves practicing casting and pretend fishing with poles like these. He’s gone through a couple of the character ones from big box stores and has either left them behind or something has broken off. This one was great because it lasted a while, and would’ve held up longer, but he decided to stab it into our carpet like Excalibur for some reason and the pole snapped. It’s now gone. Not the fault of the manufacturer, but just know it’s no match for a preschooler. The value for money is good. The color was pretty. It worked well til it was broken. Would and probably will buy again.

So cute and good quality. Came fast and my daughter loves to use this to fish off the dock. Great for a first fishing pole!

Great buy! These are actually nice little units that work very well. I have 3 grand daughters and we use then to catch small fish along the seawall.
