VALUE: 💯%‼️
It sticks. It works. And it doesn't come off till you take it off!I really appreciate how comfortably they adhere, and I forget my custom pieces are actually in place - especially when used on my egregiously sensitive facial skin! The 1st 8" is a waste - I ended up pitching most of that because of the tape used to secure the roll. It's the strongest tape ever and cannot be removed from the bandage roll with mangling that part of the roll. I was, however, able to salvage some of the outside edges for blemish patches. The backing (or 'fronting'??!) comes off way easier than anything I've tried, including every name brand blemish patch and a roll by another manufacturer. I found an unexpected split in that facing which is especially nice because it makes removal that much easier. They cut easily and don't stick to my scissors. I have yet to try my circle punches...I also like the vinyl protective bag to keep the roll sanitary, and was delighted to find the included reusable tape strips to keep the roll intact. What I REALLY like is how much I'm $aving by NOT spending a fortune on name brand patches anymore!5☆ because it does what I need flawlessly, and because I sincerely appreciate the extra thought that went into the final product. I do not feel the wrap-around tape manufacturing glitch diminishes the product so no stars off for that. Just know that you'll wind up trashing that part but could salvage edges for small patches.

Better than adhesive bandages
In case you are not familiar with hydrocolloid bandages, imagine putting an absorbent gel on a wound instead of tape and gauze. The gel is moderately sticky, but turns to goo when it absorbs fluid. I won't go into the fluids that might be absorbed, but suffice it to say this type of bandage is ideal for blisters.I was not hoping to write a review so soon after getting this bandage, but here I am typing with nine fingers. Don't worry, I've still got all ten, but a bit of indiscretion while grating potatoes added a small amount of protein to my hashbrowns. (Fortunately I wasn't making hashbrowns for anyone else. Did I eat them anyway? Yes, yes I did.) I managed to lop off about half a square centimeter of epidermis--not enough to call for medical attention but enough call my housemate for a towel (it is important to stop the bleeding, as vampires can smell blood from up to a mile away), and enough to try out my hydrocolloid bandage.I had to open the package, cut the cellophane tape, trim off a small strip, and peel away the protective plastic, all with one hand, since the other thumb was in use applying pressure to the wound. I managed to get the bandage into position; I kinda missed the mark and just barely got the wound area covered to the edge, but it was enough to stop the bleeding. Also, in retrospect, to cut the bandage I used the same scissors that get used for cutting everything else in the kitchen, so I may have given my immune system a challenge, but my finger hasn't fallen off so I guess it's okay. The colloid side goes on the wound, hermetically sealing it from the world. (There is a common misconception that wounds need to "breathe" but that is entirely false.) Because the edge of my hastily-installed bandage was right at the edge of my wound, as the colloid absorbed fluid, it exuded a line of sticky goo along that edge. So the next day I removed the bandage and carefully put another in place. I've trimmed the edges and it seems to be doing well. This 2" wide bandage roll can cover an abrasion up to 2" wide of any length...unless you are taller than 16 feet, I suppose. As I mentioned, my wound is tiny, and I've got the bandage trimmed to cover just a few millimeters past the edges. So it's nice to not have my entire finger enshrouded, and it's also nice to know that I can leave this bandage in place until the wound has healed. So, TL;DR...hydrocolloid bandages provide a good healing environment and can be left on the wound until it heals, but they can get a little gooey around the edges.

Must have if you want to heal!
My nurse-daughter-in-law recommended this because I’d had several spots frozen on my legs. They looked horrible AND I was using a crazy amount of ugly bandaids. I cut off just what I need. So transparent, I couldn’t see where I put them. If you have itchy spots, something defies healing, completely malleable, to fit everything, small patches teczema scratchy places.

Helps with Acne
Great product but buy small scissors to keep with it in the bathroom. Helped my son’s acne and only uses every now and then.

Great Patch Alternative
I wanted an overnight acne solution that wouldn't break the bank. These can be cut to whatever size you need and they hold on really well. I can see an improvement to my skin with any stubborn acne I have and the tape is much cheaper than traditional pimple patches.

Simple, unobtrusive, but not as robust as stated
I tested a bit of this on a cracked and abraded spot on my inner thumb knuckle. It is a challenging location, and this protective film did help somewhat. I cooked and washed my hands as usual – didn’t baby it. It curled up at the edges, and the skin around the edges did get wet.A few days later my husband jabbed his shin on a broken branch which broke the skin in a rough patch maybe 1”x2”. He cleaned the wound and used this bandage over it. He left it on for about 24 hours. The edges curled up a bit but for the most part it stayed firmly attached to his skin. When he took it off it seemed like it didn’t breathe – the oozing from the wound seemed trapped under the bandage. It did come with four peel & stick tabs, presumably to help support the edges. We didn't try those. So we will use this as wound protection, maybe after the wound has dried a bit, and will remember not to leave it on too long, even if it seems clean and dry from the outside.

Good value
Great for pimples and small wounds. Way better value than the patches.
