Want a taste of real Islam? This is it. I've read other books of hadith (sayings) but this one, which covers what are called "Holy hadith", sayings of God reported from his various prophets and other mystics, is beautiful. The sayings are simple and direct prescriptions for a sweet spiritual life. I bought the paperback English version and then discovered that the hardback version also includes the Arabic as well as the English. So I bought that too! The translations are great. The lettering is very readable. I'm glad I found this. Peace & Blessings to you.

Im very satisfied with this purchase however Id much rather like to find one that is expounded on by orthodox scholars such as al-Ghazali, Imam Malik, Imam Hanafi, or ibn Arabi himself. These are just raw ahadith but theyre still good to read and contemplate on during the day.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading the Sacred Sayings of God. I just wish there was more to read as you can't get enough of your Creator's Wisdom, Mercy and Blessings.

Ibn Arabi is very important scholar whose ideas are sometimes challenging. I liked this text, but I wish it included the Arabic text. Otherwise i would recommend.

I liked the simple but majestic hadith on Allah swt- It helped me grow in love for Him and faith and patience too! Very important work!

This is one awesome book that contains Divine sayings of ALLAH (God) by the prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam (p.b.u.h.) . Its is a very good read and also i believe it was written by a Mujadid (reviver of islam) i am not sure but i think he was. Nevertheless great book, easy to read and very enjoyable to read

This selection of sacred hadith, some from canonical sources and others directly related to the "greatest" Sheik by various Muhadatheen he met in Mecca, rewards slow reading and rereading. Well annotated and with excellent additional material, beautifully presented, its a book to treasure. Should be of interest to anyone wishing to explore who or what God is, and what He means in our lives.

Superb collection! Took a long time to read them all in Arabic, but some of these ahadith are truly beautiful!
