Great mustard for a great price. Tastes the same as it did decades ago. Great for sandwhiches (for those that like mustard), cooking, salad dressing and many other uses. Great texture and taste. Spicier than standard yellow mustard but not too spicy.Container is very well sealed. The plastic lid may be a lid hard for some to remove. But probably seals better than the old cork covers that used to come with this mustard a long time ago.

Let me begin by saying that I find mustard just OK, generally, and I’m not typically a fan of spicy food. Having said that,I’ve eaten this mustard for many years, more years than I can count. The quality is fantastic and insurmountable. This is a mustard you could eat straight from the jar, it’s so freaking good. It has just the right amount of spice, the right amount of vinegar, it’s absolutely perfect. I use this on anything I want to put mustard on - from gourmet foods to hotdogs to eating it straight out of the jar. It’s just wonderful. I’ve never had a bad jar, either. The heavy stone crockery jars are very heavy & durable and you can easily reuse them afterward for other things. If you’re looking for a top worldwide mustard, one that will ruin you for any other mustard, you want this one.

The first time I bought this mustard it was a trial - well, let me tell you that trial is over and it will remain in my kitchen for as long as I can get it. I use it for so many things and go through a jar pretty quickly. We only use olive oil type dressings for our salads and a dab of this mustard with the olive oil, salt and drop or two of honey is so delicious. Don't let the negative review of the lid stop you from buying it because that is what keeps it fresh. It does take a bit of a tug but so worth it.

Excellent grainy mustard. Tastes like the local retail versions but without the wine. Will buy again.

First like others have said that lid is a beast to get off. I am 6 feet tall and 250 pounds and I barely am able to get it on and off. Hopefully it loosens up. The crock is better than I was expecting. The mustard looks different than the ones you get at trader joes and such but actually tastes very good. If it goes bad or anything like that will update my review but for now it is a very good purchase and you get enough that you can put quite a bit on. I really only use this when I am eating sausage so should last quite a while

Smoked ham and cheese on rye. This mustard is excellent. It's a 10. Worth it. Treat yourself.
