What is the thread size for the blocks? I think they're M5 but what is the thread number?

My blocks were M5 x 0.8 on the four top mounting holes. Be careful when mounting these as the center-to-center distance is 2 mm difference between the width and length run on the blocks. My M5 holes (4) were not drilled properly and gave the block an angled "run" down the rail. You can't correct this. The only option was to drill the matching holes over size to compensate for the alignment. I ordered an assortment of M5 cap head screws from Amazon in various lengths. This M5 set was very helpful during assembly.

Can the rails be attached to the ceiling? Will it support a downward pulling force on the sliding blocks?

I wouldn’t do it. The bearings are only on the top of the bushings

Do you have cad files for the linear guides?

Just google the SBR specification. The hole pattern is a perfect rectangle 32mm center-to-center in width (across the rail), and 30mm in length. Screw size is M5, no more than 12mm in length.

how much weight can these carry?

These rails are strong and should support at least 40 pounds of downward pressure. The rails are also based on the support underneath. I used these rails as cross spans on my router sled. I used an all-aluminum mount for my 3 1/4HP Makita router and had excellent results. It was sturdy with little if any sagging or deflection in the middle of the travel.
