Proof that a tasty treat can be made without High Fructose Corn Syrup!
I guess all of the people in the comments saying these don't taste good or taste like they remember are High Fructose Corn Syrup addicts. Because it is very, very difficult to get tasty, shelf stable, treats like this without that unhealthy ingredient. Almost every comparable product out there is going to be loaded with HFC. If that's what you've developed a taste for, so be it. But the rest of us with healthy taste buds prefer not to rot out our insides. These Cherry Fruit Pies are perfection in every way with no objectionable ingredients. I would give 6 stars if I could! YUMMY!

Not the Fruit pies I expected. NOT the fruit pies they use to be
First, these are not frosted as the picture shows. Next, they are not the flaky golden brown crust as shown. When I was a kid, I would buy these, loved them. They had a golden brown flaky crust and covered with a nice heavy sugar glaze. The pies I bought here had no glaze, crust was burnt and hard, and not very fresh, they are a good 30% smaller. They are packaged in box, and not wrapped in seal plastic to preserve freshness and flavor. There was no cherry's in them, just a thick cherry flavored sugar juice. My opinion, I would not recommend to anyone to purchase these, they are not good. I will never buy them again and just give away the remainder to someone.

not impressed
I was very disappointed by the quality of these. They were almost soggy and didn't taste right. In the garbage they went.

Not what they used to be ...
I used to grab one of these long ago, when I had a sugar craving and they were very yummy. I hadn't had one in decades until I happened across these by accident and thought I'd buy a box. The day I bought the box, they were only $9 for 8 pies, which I thought was a decent price. I noticed the very next day when I checked on when they might be delivered, that the price had increased several dollars. I'm glad I bought the when I did, because they are certainly not worth the price they are asking now. More importantly, they are not the snack pie's I had from years ago. These have a bitter taste and are very salty. (Cherry) Even if the price should drop back to an acceptable amount, I wouldn't ever buy these again.

Tastes terrible, nothing like they once were…
Dreadful. Pastry crust is stale and mushy dough. Gone is the tasty crust with the glaze. The fruit filling seems like mostly gel and no detectable actual fruit. Packaging seemed like it had taken some banging around and was crushed/dented. Pie crust seams had separated on a few and was leaking gel filling. You won’t recapture your childhood experience with these, unfortunately. P.S. I tried to check the “Best Before” date on the packaging but there’s nothing recognizable as a date. Just a string of numbers and letters that may represent a production lot but is indecipherable as such.
