AeroPilates Precision Series Reformer 610 with Optional Cadillac

Of course not as nice as the real reformer bug does the job and I use it with different utube videos

I had tried a reformer about 5 years ago at the gym and loved it but couldn’t afford $20/pop. I have had some heath issues for the past several years which really effect my energy levels and strength and was this a good purchase? Yes, but... Shipping was quick, I ordered 3/23/20 estimated delivery was 3/27/20-4/1/20 and it was delivered on 3/26/20. Assembly is a two person job for sure. That was where the problems started. The paint on the joint of the legs made it impossible to use the washers with several of the bolts. As the legs themselves bear most of the weight I don’t think this will be much of an issue but the bolts came with washers for a reason. The MAJOR problem came with the pulley assembly. One of the holes which holds the bolt to secure one of the pullies was missing! Luckily I own a drill but it did take several tries to get the right size hole and get my flimsy drill bit to go thru steel. Thank god for that because I literally would’ve had to return the entire machine if I didn’t have a drill. The assembly for the Cadillac was even more complicated than the entire reformer itself. The push thru bar pins WOULD NOT go thru the holes and when I finally got them to, they don’t want to stay in. For the amount I spent on this thing, I had higher hopes in terms of quality control. I have reached out to both the amazon seller and the manufacturer regarding the defects but as of the time of this review nothing has been resolved. I will update my review if/when I hear back from them. Overall, the machine is of good quality, feels somewhat stable while I’m using it, and it is a low impact and fun way to work out. UPDATE: it’s been several days and I have yet to hear back from the manufacturer or the seller, today I went to put the rebounder in place and couldn’t get one of the pins in. I used a flashlight to look in the hole and found a piece of plastic broken off in the hole. I wanted to add pictures of the defects including the hole I had to drill but I’m not seeing an option. Also, the item is now $250 off and Amazon refused to give me any type of price adjustment. I made the purchase a week prior and they absolutely refused. Overall, I think this purchase was a huge mistake.

Solid, heavy metal, welded, and sturdy. Has wheels. Very well-packaged. No damages from shipping. Easy to put together.Pulleys squeak under weight, springs rattle, carriage thumps on one side when it rolls over the spot where the machine is hinged (for delivery), and the ropes are not the same length (off by about an inch and a half). On-line videos not accessible, even customer service could not get me access due to some problem with the serial number for my machine not being in their database. Customer service answered the phone though, and I talked to a real person, but they couldn’t help me, didn’t resolve the video access problem, and never bothered to call or email me back when (and if) they resolved it.But it is solidly built. I LOVE having it in my house where I can do 10 to 15 minutes if that’s all the time I have to spare, and a longer workout when convenient for me. That 10 to 15 minutes in the morning before work gives me SO MUCH ENERGY during my workday, I LOVE it! This machine is so much more affordable than the studio models which START at $3,000 for just the reformer. It also saves me from having to drive half an hour to the closest Pilates studio (total driving time of 1+ hour was just too much for me, especially because the studio’s classes would fill up so fast, I couldn’t always get in the time slots I wanted, and having to stay on top of scheduling myself in their system is just too much of a pain). The studio fees are also high, at $165 per month for unlimited classes, that this machine (at $1,200 for the reformer and cadillac) pays for itself in less than 8 months.If you can’t tell already, I’m very happy with my purchase.

I have been waiting for this item to come back in stock and jumped at the chance once available. The Cadillac option was bought separately, but it was put together pretty easy. It's fun to use. I mean... who wouldn't love to jump on a tiny trampoline while laying on your back, right? Definitely was not disappointed. I didn't even realize 30 mins passed while using it. As far as the reading all the reviews, the good ones indicate the pully system will need updating eventually. I find this to be true. The pulleys are not heavy duty and in time you may need to upgrade them, but the machine does work as advertised. Also, being almost 5'8" it's nice to have a machine where I don't have to worry about hitting my head.So far using it every other day if not every day.. (I did say that rebounder was quite fun), no issues have popped up. My husband has even expressed interest in using it, which is fabulous.

Buyer Beware this item is not as advertised. Although the title, description and customer reviews all show the Reformer WITH the Cadillac as a combo the product that was shipped does not have the Cadillac! It was explained as an Amazon title error and I expected the ad would have been taken down right away to spare others in Canada the disappointment and frustration but it seems another has sold since I brought this issue to the sellers attention so I feel this review is important. So far the resolution is return it or pay $$$ to purchase the Cadillac separately. Such a shame because the quality of the reformer itself looks very good.

Balancedbody社のリフォーマーやキャデラックでのエクササイズに慣れていると、やはり安価であるがゆえのざっくりとした作りにとまどう部分もあります。リフォーマーのフットバーが高さ角度固定、グリップが固い、ストラップをかけておけない、タワーのアクセサリーのストラップの違い、PTBをボトムロードにした時の左右差、トップロードのスプリングの強度、、などなど、比較してしまうと、、ですが、このマシンにはこのマシン用のエクササイズのやり方もあると思うので、これから使いながら研究したいと思います。カスタマイズできる部分はするつもりです。機能は果たしていますし、何よりお値段が手頃なので、自分でマシンを持ちたい！という希望は叶えられました。
