Great little knife.
Excellent little knife for the keyring. Slimmer than I had anticipated, which is a plus. Very light and hardly noticeable in the pocket. The locking blade sharp right out of the package. Snugly seated so it is very unlikely to open in your pocket.

Would not recommend
It can be dangerous, if you add this to your key smart key setup, don’t be surprised when you have to disassemble it when entering certain building or flying. The blade is small and doesn’t really help with anything outside of cutting open a letter. Closing this can easily cut you, kinda dangerous

If you are cutting paper, this knife is for you.
This knife is quite small and sharp. It will do in a pinch. Don't plan on doing much more than cutting string or paper. This knife is not very robust. The mechanism used to keep the knife closed is mediocre at best. My first thought when opening the knife blade was "will this stay closed in my pocket?" I envision 4 months down the road, I reach into my pocket for a quarter and this knife cuts my finger tip to the bone. This is not going in my pocket. Ever. I don't think that I can trust it. Also if you anticipate using the knife with cutting anything other than straight up and down, you're gonna have a bad time. I also have the keyport knife as well. It is much more robust than this tin foil of a knife.

Dulls quickly and easily, and then DISAPPEARS like magic!
Keysmart makes some cool, useful stuff. It then they gave knives a shot. I believe call what I’m about to say an “Epic fail”. I’m good at sharpening all types of knives and am used to working with materials that are not as good as some others. I use this knife to split medication. Soft pills, that’s it. It dulls within a week, which I then turn to a great brand of knife sharpeners by Work Sharp. I use a mini belt sander just to get an edge back, and then a tri-surface sanding block. Immediately I could tell this was cheap metal, so I always took it easy on the little guy. I could tell it wasn’t made well because he likes to open up and try to poke holes in my pocket. Lucky for me it’s always to dull. Well he was so dull since honing it 2 weeks ago from the tough job of cutting pressed powder, I had to do get the edge back last night. Only this time no matter how carefully I angled and pulled across the least abrasive honing stone, I couldn’t get an edge. So I put on a low abrasive sanding belt on my tool, and I watched the blade begin to disappear. I got an edge quickly so it didn’t become dust in the wind, went back to a slightly abrasive stone, and just saw black specs begin to melt right off the blade. Now obviously this is cheap metal, and a cheap design, and not an expensive knife, so I wasn’t looking for an edge I could skin a reptile with. I wanted to stop, but after all of that, plus skill in sharpening all my different knives, I had no edge. And when this thing is dull at all, it will crush a pill, not cut it. So carefully, with low abrasion and gentle movements, I tried for 45 minutes to get an edge. The metal is so poor that is just couldn’t make onebecuse the material just fall away with any sort of pressure applied. Believe it or not, I only used the belt honer that one time. The photo you see was created by simple hand honing on the lowest abrasion. Cheap or not, we use knives to cut things, therefor size and price (this is not a cheaply priced small knife) shouldn’t matter when it comes to retaining and re-shaping an edge. 15 minutes into this I knew this knife had lost its will to live. So I kept at it to see if I could get an edge no matter how unusable the knife was becoming. Well, I accomplished it, and you can see what was left by the time it was actually able to slice anything. Now I wrote that jokingly and lightly, BUT WHAT IN THE HELL KEYSMART! Really. This is what you sell as a handy little knife. Sure, keep costs down, make a profit, and it’s a tiny knife meant for tiny jobs and emergencies. But I’ve had plastic hold an edge better! This thing is a joke. Gets dull from cutting soft pills in half and it obviously can’t be sharpened. You make inovative and helpful gadgets not found anywhere else, but you can’t get a knife made correctly?! Shame on you guys from taking money from people for this worthless thing. I’ve had better quality knives that I won playing games at the county fair. Do us all a favor and don’t make any more knives, take this off the market, and refund EVERYONE who purchased it. All you did was slap your name on a 10 cent novelty to give it credibility. Sure, some of the general public are going to think this is “neat or cute” and not use it for much. But I don’t buy things because they’re cute, I buy things that are useful. You know this knife is worthless and you didn’t care because you knew you’d make a buck, some would be disappointed and realize they were cheated, but the majority wouldn’t be using it daily for utilitarian purposes. You made you money, but I’ll make sure to use any platform at my disposal to make sure you don’t make anymore by selling this knife. This will hurt, but you crossed a line, and I’m breaking up with you. That’s right, we’re finished. I can’t be with someone who can’t beat the county fairs standards of excellence regarding their products.

Slim, yet beneficial.
I enjoy adding onto the key-retainment fob; thankfully, this slim knife takes up minimal space. Pretty much no "thicker" than just another key...
