Amazing!!!
I wish I had gotten one of these years ago. My stove has the long middle burner that sits between the normal 4 circle burners. I never used the middle burner until I bought this amazing pan. I've made so many grilled cheese sandwiches on this (I've made 3 large sandwiches on it). I use various fancy cheeses, tomatoes, ham, fancy herb butter, various different kinds of breads... just amazing. My family is loving this too. Gone are the days of multiple pans and trying to squish the sandwiches into each one. Seriously, trying to get 3 sandwiches in one pan with larger bread loafs isn't going to happen, so out comes another pan. Pancakes are also easy to make on this, versus in a pan. Everything cooks the same (my circle burners are different sizes and you need to watch both pans because one will cook faster) and you get more done quicker and more efficiently. Seriously, I wish I got this year's ago. It's so easy to clean (everything washes right off with a soft rag or sponge) and it goes right back on the stove. No more washing out 2 large pans. Highly recommend. It's excellent and a game changer for me.

Best griddle I’ve owned
It heats up nicely and cooks evenly. I have a ceramic top and it does slide around a bit so you must keep a mitt on your (non-dominant) hand to steady it when flipping anything. Small price though for the value and effectiveness of the cooking surface. It’s very lightweight but cooks great. Have cooked pancakes, thin-sliced chicken breasts, and bacon so far. Worth it!

USE LOW HEAT :) lightweight, convenient, easy to clean
i got the 2 burner griddle - it does cover my two gas griddle, i tried both front to back and left to right and it fit both ways . i think this was getting such bad reviews bc people may have been cooking on high. i just happened to ALSO get a two burner cast iron griddle and cooked on high to bad results -- i learned i had to use low to medium low heat on that. so i figured i'd try low heat on this. i put butter on it (which i can't do on cast iron), put it on low and let it heat up as i prepared my pancakes. i think people's pans are buckling bc they are probably using medium high to high heat - and to this i ask the maker of both cast iron and this, why don't you write in humungous letters all over the ad and packaging - use low heat??proslightweight, especially compared to cast ironheats up and cooks food quicklyeasy to storefits on two gas burnerssaves a lot of time - a pan would do 2-3 pancakes at a time, this does 6.easy clean upcan use butter, unlike cast ironaffordablei use nonstick spray or butter on this, and nothing has gotten stuck on it, unlike cast ironcons-only fits 6 1/4 cup pancakes, unless i'm doing something wrong. a standard mix serving of one cup pancake mix makes 8 pancakes, so i can't make all pancakes at once - but i think that's a size limitation of all two burner griddles.-i have trouble flipping the pancakes because the sides of this are low, so there is nothing to stop the spatula, but i do it. i would suggest getting one with a backsplash for pancakes - this might be better for sausages etc (food that doesn't need to be flipped.)-aluminum is arguably not good for you, as it leeches into your food. when you use cast iron, the iron also leeches into food, which may be great news for anemic/menstruating women, not so great for men who have no way to release iron.-i get a tinny taste after eating food on this, but maybe it's for another reason unrelated to the pan. not sure. will test more over time,so in general i recommend it. if it's this v cast iron - well cast iron will last for years, but it is very heavy and requires constant seasoning. food can also easily get stuck on it. he loves the lodge cast iron reversible griddle/grill to make steak. i'm definitely less of a cook and way more of a convenience girl. i so wish they made this in four griddle size, the only affordable one i found is a different brand and weight 18 pounds.

Great for the bbq
I’m the greatest cooker with this sucker and a non stick wire mesh grating on the bbq. It’s off the pan so it cooks almost evenly all round! I’m not talking turkey but chicken, steaks, ribs, dogs, ! Damn these 2 things make me a pretty good cook! Next up bone in rib roast!

Great value for the money
Our 18" Circulon non-stick griddle gave years of yeoman service, but is now increasingly difficult to clean. Amazon reviews on available replacements did not inspire confidence. Finally we bought the Lodge cast-iron griddle. We have other Lodge black-iron cookware, and love the stuff, but the Lodge griddle was not a happy choice. It is fussy, and EVERYTHING sticks (after “seasoning”), no matter what; may be fine for the campsite but has no place in the kitchen (we have not tried the ribbed bottom for steaks/chops yet).Out of frustration I bought this Nordic Ware 17.5" griddle for less than $20.00. It is little more than a lightweight aluminum cookie sheet, and I did not expect much. Surprise! GREAT product! Perfect for cooking shredded potatoes, bacon, scrapple. (Haven’t tried eggs yet. ) Lots of breakfast stuff can go on there all at once. Nonstick top cleans up nicely, no hidden corners or grooves to store grease like Circulon .Tip: Do not cook too hot! We have different size gas burners, and it is wise to set both burners at the same heat level, medium at hottest. Take your time! Shredded potatoes cook up beautifully, golden crispy, at medium heat with corn oil (and, if Mom’s not looking, some butter). I have warped more aluminum griddles than I care to count, by excess heat, or uneven heat, or too quick to rinse in cold water. No metal utensils, of course, and some ammonia will de-grease the griddle without vigorous rubbing.Tip #2: Some corn oil baked onto the shiny aluminum bottom of the Nordic Ware griddle. (How? No idea.) A paste of Comet cleanser did nothing to remove it. Barkeeper’s Friend, however, cleaned it of nicely. If we get a few years out of this griddle, we are way ahead of the game. Again , great purchase.

Good for pancakes
This is a good sturdy little product. However, the coding is scratched off in a couple of places so I don’t know how great the coding is on this. I don’t even know if it arrived this way or if it’s something that’s happened since we got it, but the coating Isn’t fantastic. However it seems to be able to distribute heat efficiently to all ends which these types of cooking pans often cannot.
